Full Exothermic Welding Process(How to Make Exothermic Connection)

In this video, we demonstrated how to perform exothermic welding correctly：
Step 1: Preheat the mold and conductors with a torch for 3-4 minutes each, make sure their surfaces are dry enough, then use a wire brush to clean the dried surfaces to remove any dirt or oxides.(This is very important because it can get rid of any excess moisture that could negatively affect the welding quality)
Step 2: Insert the conductor in the mold’s cavity
Step 3: Use the steel disc to block the tap hole
Step 4: Pour weld powder into the mold, then pour starting powder over the weld powder (do not mix, but scatter), sprinkle some of the starting powder on the mold's mouth
Step 5: Close the lid, use the flint gun to ignite the starting powder
Step 6: Wait approximately 10-15seconds, open the mold and remove any remaining slags with a steel shovel.
Then you get a clean, beautiful, smooth and strongest exothermic welding joint.
