@@JohnLudwickthere's another youtuber in nh called chris sullivan , although you seem to have different tastes in cars maybe y'all can link up and do something together. he's got some really cool cars
This is my new favorite channel. It makes sense you found that bus in w Kansas, I haul cattle with a bagged and body dropped Peterbilt and frequent that area, it along with south east Colorado are chucked full of solid cars. Love all the odd ball cars man, thats exactly the same stuff i like, especially when bagged. Ive got a 58 isetta, 58 Austin healey, 58 continental....to name a few. Id like to bag them all someday. I will keep tuning in sharing your vids with friends. Thanks for taking the time to video it all!
HI JOHN,, MY SON MAX 9 YR.S OLD LOVES THIS BUS ,, I TOLD MAX WHEN I WAS A KID I RODE ON A BUS THE SAME,, ROUND BACK END BUT HAD TWO WINDOWS ,, IT WAS A BLUE BIRD IN THE 50S COLD IN THE WINTERS TO RIDE IN HA!! I LOVE THIS BUS TOOO!!!! WE BOTH SAY KEEP IT GOING AND MORE VIDEOSS.....GREAT COLORS TOW TRUCK PURPLE YA!! WE LIKE THE CORVARS ALSO THX. WE SAY HAPPY HOLIDAY... PEACE... LOVE YOUR CHANNEL..
Will never forget riding behind your corvair my first year up to winnipesaukee. Awesome to see the journey since then. Can’t wait for the next projects !
Love your Channel and the rare air cooled stuff....... Looking forward to the Bus Build! We have three air cooled cars.....Impossible to find parts for....UGH Three 1959 Autobianchi Bianchina Trasformibile.....It was a compilation of Perelli, Fiat and Autobianchi.....Its basically a sporty lil Suicide door two door canvas slide back center roof with a Fiat 500 engine.....We are exploring options on engines.....This 19 HP 2 cylinder and four speed cant handle the hills here in PA.... Keep up the great work John!
I enjoyed your new movie. Great enthusiasm The Bus is killer so is the Greenbriar!!! and the 4 door white kAr. So cool you share the hobby with your Dad. Great content. ThE gOlD vAIR is SICK!!!! Its complete dont do any more work to it.
I Wasn’t even a full minute and 30 seconds into the video before I immediately jumped onto the website to buy a limited run poster. I’ve been a supporter of ludwicks garage ever since seeing the Toyota century in Ocean City Maryland years ago actually have that poster hanging in our detailing shop
@ I can’t wait to see the plans unfold for the clipper I’m just so excited for that project and to see a rolling merch studio at events will be such an immersive experience!
Oh my gosh, the mini tank!!!!!! I miss that fox. We talked back in the day at waterwerks on the bay (Northern Cali) about the fox wagon that my wife and I had in the show. We still have it haha. Sutton will be working on it for us. She's been a garage queen for a couple years now
I 100% agree with the Flxible chassis swap...have a Travco 320, luckily has hydraboost & disc brakes. The diesel swap? Pull out the 440 & 727 Loadflite, pop in a 6BT with an Allison (overdrive & parking brake on the tail housing). The biggest thing I was able to score for it? A full set of 7 Alcoas that are the 5-lug on 8" spread. Those wheels & the large, vintage rectangular pairs CIBIE driving & fog lights have garnered offers. I always laugh seeing rust belt people get all giddy about vehicles that aren't rotted.
What a bunch of rusty junk! Only kidding. I love corvairs. Waiting until I finish a couple Fiero projects to buy one. Can’t wait for the bus build to start. It’s going to be epic!
The bus project sounds like something you would use. If you do regular videos, it will probably get you more views and subscribers, hell, it got me as a new subscriber today.
Fantastic episode! New follower since a year. (I have sold Stanley Bostitich in Sweden for 10 years) Vw nut since the -80s. Have probably 30+ cars now from 1950 and newer. (5 or type 7) Saab latley)🥴 Incredibly fun to see you working with your father. I am 60 now and my son is 24. Planning to intertwine our projects more after your insperiation! Keep up the awesome work!! 🤙🤩
Just found the channel definitely subbed especially knowing you are in NH my favorite place. Have a goodnight and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Massachusetts.
@ I have had many Subarus that I have daily driven and thrashed on weekends, I’ve never even blown a head gasket, sold them with over 250,000 miles on them. The biggest issue is the oil pans, go to Moroso and get a real oil pan and they will live a lot longer as long as the tuner has a clue. My Engine builder used to make 750 horsepower at the crank before the blocks spit on half.
SHARING THIS WITH ALL MY SCION CAR OWNERS , I HAVE A 2006 SCION XB THAT IS BAGED AND FRONT SEATS LOWERED 3INCHES, I WANT SOME STEELIES WITH RINGS AND OLD SCHOOL BABY MOONS , NOT GOING FIND IN 4X100 OK DUDE LOVE CARS DUDE AND LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE SHOP BUILD TO!!!!!!!
You seem to enjoy Air cooled motors, have you thought of using a Deutz air cooled Diesel in something like that Bus or a tow truck/ shop truck. That bus needs spraying with Lacquer as that patina is perfect
There is a good chance your sweet bus was built by women filling in the workforce. Putting newer running gear in the bus will make it superior to all the stockies that get driven to a show twice a year. Clarence Ross may still be around.
I just happen to know all 17 guys in the lower 48 that might need parts from that early Corvair. I will forward you the list to help you out... ha ha I am just kidding with you They are cool cars, in fact my neighbor has 4 of them. He and his wife daily 2 of them and the other ones are Monzas he is restoring...You have a cool collection of stuff. I love that cab over and bus not to mention that Auto Union is badass. You have a good eye for building. Are you going to use the RV rims on that bus or go with some Alcoa's or something similar? I love the way the inner wheel tubs are set up on that bus. It wouldn't be hard at all to make them any size you need them to be because of all the space you have. It pretty much allows you to do anything you want
Greenbrier? Whatever. Sent you a message of one here in Florida that was like 6k running and driving and good paint no rust. Don’t know if you ever got it 🤷🏾♂️
Make sure to comment here too if you are watching the live chat with us!
LOVE THE VIDEO DUDE AND I AM ALSO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE BUS BUILD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I for one appreciate you saying 'champing at the bit' and not 'chomping' - instant follow. Oh also the cars are neat.
I am certainly guilty of saying chomping every now and then 😂 But I appreciate people knowing the difference!

Nice job, unique, old cars are like toys, that’s why I collect them too
Such a great episode man.

Chopping that buss 8” that would be sick.
Great update, makes me wonder how I struggle with one project 😢😂
The bus is incredible
Thank you!
If cool was a person ❤
Stay a throwback the mini tank is!!
Hi John, you and Matt from Matt's Offroad Recovery should talk about Corvairs
We would be at it for hours 😂
Iv always wanted a corvair something really cool about them
An aircooled Chevy is just so cool!
Just found the channel definitely subbed especially knowing you are in NH my favorite place. Have a goodnight and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Massachusetts.
nh is just central massachusetts, bangor to kittery is just northern massachusetts, i always say from bangor to baltimore they're all massholes 😂😂😂
I feel attacked 😂 We literally complain and fight off Massachusetts every weekend here 😂😂
And thank you, James!
bmw looks amazing
It would be cool to drop that early model convertible on a Subaru chassis, make a killer cheap fun as hell ride
why ? so it can blow up?

Ich finde deine Projekte echt klasse, arbeitest du auch noch oder nur die Autos und youtube?
Like the Flxble and will follow the transfer of frames for sure, as different a grouping of rides I have seen. Eclectic Garage works too.
That auto Union car would look amazing with a 2 inch roof chop.

that intro was fucking amazing 10/10

Is that red car with the nose off a ‘64 Cutlass ? I have one
Yes it is! My father had like 8 64s!
Nice bunch of cars. But cant say im a fan of rust holes.
Greenbrier? Whatever. Sent you a message of one here in Florida that was like 6k running and driving and good paint no rust. Don’t know if you ever got it 🤷🏾♂️
Why not body swap the convert able corvaire?
On the road to 100k subscribers in 2025!

Was Auto Union / Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, and Some fourth company?
Not a fan of those lowered cars but to each their own...
