watching this as a 12 year old, i faced kids that were around 6 1 and im like 5 3 in aaa baseball, it might be scary to go up to kids this size but trust me you will grow too

My 5 Star National West GA 12U Black team was there. We beat ECB Orange 12U in pool play. My dad saw the YP guy come in the gate. I hit a bomb off ECB Orange to right center on that same field. The video is on my TH-cam.
Question is, who is in the background calling the game on radio or whatever it is??
They are no different than any other 12U Major team that was at the event.

@@tonefr9661 5'9 is not normal for a 12 year old... these kids will stay that height because they've been through early puberty. The kids at 5'5-5'8 will be the ones who grow into their bodies and finish at 6'2-6'5 220.

The 10-13 age is dominated by size. Between the parents reclassifying kids and using illegally rolled bats it's hard to deal with. Some of the 14 year old kids still try to roll the BBCORE or we'll just use a bat that has been banned. But at 15 you're only playing with wood In high schools are pretty good about catching illegal bats.
None of these bats are illegal and most high schools use bbcor not wood

Middle school baseball is stupid. Kids skirt the age rules and it's a race to see who can get the biggest collection of early developed kids in the right grade. So dumb. I personally know several middle school studs that didn't make their HS freshman teams because they didn't know how to actually play baseball, or the other kids caught up to them in size and didn't rely on being overpowering to be good. Size helps, but skill > size 100 times out of 100.

I remember 12u well. My son is now 15 and those ZT kids we played in FL, GA, TX haven’t grown. You’ll meet kids at 14-15u you’ve never heard of throwing gas and hitting bombs. These kids were blessed with size and coordination at a young age but the other kids will catch up. Also, bbcor changes everything. If you have a hitch or your mechanics are not on point, you’re not hitting.
Story of my life, I’m only 5’6” rn and both my parents are over 5’10” can’t wait til I hit puberty and pass all the early bloomers. Just as good now can’t wait til I’m huge and strong
@@sirloin0650 Just be patient and enjoy the game. A lot of these PG Select Fest kids at 12-13 can’t transition to bbcor. The bat is too heavy and they can’t hit. Plus the game speeds up with velo. You’ll see kids throwing 80+ at 14u and these skinny kids can’t swing the bbcor bats. We had a kid on my sons travel team who was Team USA, pg select, all kinds of accolades as a 12-13 yr old and the kid bats 9th and he’s an error machine because the balls are ripped at him at SS. Watch…
