True maturity boosts are so important at this age. Some of these kids look like they are 9 and others look 14-15.. that usually evens out in their teens and early 20s.
US teams shoud be mixed with other international teams to get more diffenent experiences . All teams in one bracket is nothing but only to arrange that there mus be a US team in WS championship game....ridiculous IDEA
Some of these teams need to watch the batters as they turn after crossing first base... when i played it was ruled that if you turn right you were not proceeding to attempt to run to second.. but if you turned left you were going to be determined that your going to attempt to go to second.. so some of these kids the first baseman could just tag them because i seen at least 1 or so of the kids turn left coming back to first.
not necessarily. The runner's actions have to be interpreted by the umpire as that runner making an attempt to advance to 2nd base. You can turn in fair territory and not have it be interpreted as such. But yes, you're typically taught to turn in foul territory to avoid any confusion. Same thing with for instance, bunts. You're taught to pull the bat back if you don't want to attempt to bunt the pitch, to avoid any confusion, and that works fine for everybody. But in reality, you can keep the bat out there; if you don't make an attempt to bunt the pitch, it shouldn't be called a strike. So the ball can be in the dirt and the batter just holds the bat in the middle part of the zone. But if the ball is in the dirt and he moves the bat to try and bunt it, it'll be called a strike on the attempted bunt
Why Florida didn’t start #9 as their pitcher is beyond me the dudes been dialed in from the mound past couple games I’ve seen. And only pitches one inning smh
I don;t think they intended to, but he lost control & couldn’t throw strikes. The next pitcher had the same issues & before long, they were on their 3rd pitcher of the game.
I think it was a smart move. Sure Feliciano could've kept it a tie game. He's worked out of jams in the South Dakota game. Worse case scenario, they trail 2-1 to Texas. But they decided to take him out at 50 to be eligible to pitch Thursday. Also, Florida didn't score any more runs against Hurst so they would've lost 2-1 OR if Feliciano kept it a tie game, his pitch count was going up quick. He probably would've been taken out before 5th inning, and THEN Texas would've scored which meant Florida loses AND don't have their ace for ANY elimination game. Gotta have your ace available for future games👍👍
@@davidroman1654 true true. Which is another good reason to take out Feliciano knowing you could lose the game and might need your ace for an elimination game.

I disagree. A true American Classic culture would NOT allow us to have an automatic finalist. We used to compete against all the other countries until we started to get eliminated and the attendance and ratings suffered.
Is anybody else having trouble understanding how dumb the format is in the LLWS now? Florida was 2-0. Texas 1-0. So why does Texas have the advantage of playing one less game and already being in great position? Seems to me some teams have a much easier road through than others, all depending on when your first game is. Both Nevada and Texas are now just 2-0 in prime position while Hawaii and Florida have played 3 games and have been limited by pitching already because of it. Should’ve kept it at 8 teams..
@@TheIncredibleOne628 well that's how the 10 team double elimination format works 🤷 but to be fair it's not like the teams don't know about it. Florida had ALL their pitchers eligible for this game including their ace. Hawaii also knew about it and decided to have their ace pitch 65 on Friday which made him ineligible for Monday (also they were already winning when he got to 50) 😭
