From the twa stage to mid back was the hardest part of my journey. Great tips, especially when it comes to the ends.

It's very important to trim my ends ?

So where trims are concerned, it's important because it can severely hinder your length retention, cause your hair will keep breaking off and in extreme cases..it'll thin out and result in you losing a lot of inches. The frequency it depends on the health of your hair ends and your body by default. If your hair ends are perfectly fine then there's no need to. I realised that sometimes, when my ends seem trashy, it's just because of the weather and my failure to keep them moisturised. If they have a lot of single strand knots though, or you're experiencing A LOT of breakage, you'll need to trim your ends. (in some instances, a lot of breakage can also indicate something else, like the fact that you're too stressed, the need for a protein treatment or more moisture, or sometimes even a change in your diet). So where ends and trimming them are concerned, I don't believe that there's a specific time period that we all have to follow. Some people just do their best to maintain the health of their ends...and rarely trim. Some trim every 6 weeks...some every 3..6 months. Observe your hair, listen to it and you'll know when and how often you need a trim
