Battery backup time calculation for UPS and Solar system in Urdu/Hindi | Lead acid battery vs Dry Battery
In this video I explain how to calculate inverter battery backup time or how to calculate solar battery backup time and backup time comparison of lead acid battery vs tubular battery and lead acid battery vs dry battery.
There are so many kinds of batteries in market for UPS and solar system like Lead acid batteries (Volta batteries, Osaka batteries, AGS batteries, Phoenix batteries, Exide batteries etc) Dry batteries (Eco star batteries, Homage batteries Narada batteries) same like tubular batteries Gel batteries etc.
So there is a very simple method to calculate battery calculation for inverter and battery calculation for solar system. Good! I have lead acid battery in ups, if I replace by gel battery I get more Ah. But my ups stops after 10 volts so on gel battery ups will stop on same or run more than on lead acid?

I appreciate the effort to explain the things in simple terms. However, you did not add inverter losses as inverters are not 100% efficient. Also what about the losses due to lagging/leading power factor once the inerter converts the dc power to an ac power ? Another factor is depth of discharge (DoD). 70% DOD may result in reducing the number of cycles of battery. For example according to datasheet of phoenix batteries 20%DOD will result in 2400 charge cycles while more DOD will result in reduced number of cycles.

But here soo called companies never ever mention it's calculated DoD. BTW, which battery and power inverter you'll suggest for value of money in these days. It would be highly appreciated if you respond..
