Oh thanks God it's back! I clicked on it as SOON as I got the notification last time and STILL missed it. As I've said in an earlier reaction, AoS reactions are my comfy, happy place. It's like a balm for the soul. ;-) I really appreciate you doing them. I love to see people get introduced and follow the MCU, especially people who did not grow up reading comics. As a person whose childhood memories are filled with comic stories and characters that I thought were cool and wished that they could be brought to life in live-action so that others could enjoy them, this has been a wonderful dream come true. Almost no one (who watches everything in order) can deny they are just fun and very entertaining. They took such care into creating a universe connecting everything all while making the individual parts entertaining, but you get an extra bonus of understanding things if you watch things in order. AND they benefit from rewatches 'cause you almost always catch some things you missed before or you will recognize things from earlier installments that get paid off later that you may have forgotten were seeded. This is especially true for AoS.

Usually is because they are so focused on what's happening (Buddy and Fitz-Simmons) that - ironically - they don't process or pay attention to what's really happening and what the show is telling you: that both Buddy and Fitz-Simmons are "a weakness", so Ward has to kill them for Garrett, but can't do it up close because in some twisted way he still has to believe that he didn't do it (killing from a distance is detaching yoursef from that killing, literally and metaphorically). It's funny, because people thinking that it was actually Garrett is *exactly* what Ward is telling himself, that he didn't really do it. They're are unintentionally fooled like Ward fools himself. In that way he's different from May, she deals with her regrets everyday, she doesn't hide that pain, at least not to herself. She's true to herself where Ward is not. Also, watch Avengers: Age of Ultron right after Agents of SHIELD 2x19, that way you'll be watching those in chronological order, just like Winter Soldier. And, yes, Ant-Man and the Wasp should be watched right *after* Infinity War. So sorry for the long text xd Can't wait for more episodes! The finale is finally here!

Ant-Man has a reference to Age of Ultron in it -- there's a reason they're meant to be watched in order. I'd just keep going with Shield until it's time for AoU. Also, that wasn't Garrett that shot the dog, it was Ward. They were drawing a parallel between the dog and FitzSimmons--that Ward would rather kill from a distance when it's someone he cares about (but he'll still kill them). (Don't anyone @ me for clarifying what appeared on-screen, that's the *opposite* of a spoiler)

Watch Age of Ultron AFTER the episode of Shield called The Dirty Half Dozen. 2x19. The ending of 2x19 leads into Ultron, and 2x20 discusses the fallout and what happens in the movie.

Season 2 ties in with Avengers 2 but it's not pertinent to hold off watching the movie. This works well as an after the fact you find out some cool tie in.

Speaking of which, I'd hold off on the movies and binge AOS with the movies as an occasional cool SFX blowout at the appropriate points. @@tashatipton2141 Why not? I'd watch. I've seen the first five X-men movies and I love Deadpool. If you haven't seen it, it's a surprising change of pace from... anything, really. There are some jokes about the X-men movies in it and about X-men origins: Wolverine (which introduced Deadpool in a way which annoyed people who like Deadpool and got declared 'non-canon'), but I'm not sure I'd recommend sitting through it and making a reaction video for that!) Still, a Deadpool reaction would be great and an X-men one would be fun as a comparison to the MCU style of movie.

Important: You should watch Avengers: Infinity War BEFORE Antman and the Wasp. You might consider watching Captain Marvel again after Infinity War; it will make more sense... especially the mid credits teaser. Otherwise your order is fine. P.S. Did you get my trivia about Man-Thing last episode? A movie you might want to consider watching, although it's not part of the MCU.
I would argue that the end credits scene for Antman & the Wasp doesn't spoil too much if you don't already know what happens in Infinity War. I could be wrong, but I only know of one way we can find out and that's to let the watch order stand.

Taken in context (by watching Infinity War first), the scene has its intended impact and is far more enjoyable... and terrifying. After considering what you said, I stand by my original recommendation that Infinity War should certainly be watched first.
i would say thats its ok to watch ant man and the wasp before infinity war IF you skip the post credit scenes for them and go back the them after infinity war

So if you want to watch things in perfect order you should watch Age of Ultron after 2x19, but it really isn't that important as there won't be any spoilers. Also it would mean you wouldn't have another marvel reaction for a while.
All the remaining movies technically take place after Age of Ultron. Agents season 3 makes a small reference to Ant Man. I highly recommend holding off until you get to the Shield episode that leads directly into the movie

I know it’s ways away but it’ll be worth it. After that, Shield will continue to make smaller references to the movies but not like before.

I’m trying to say this without spoilers about the next Avengers movie Age the of Ultron. There may be a mention in Agents of Shield related to that movie. However, I don’t think it’s that big where you should skip over the movie until you finally reach episode 19. I haven’t seen AOS in awhile so I might be wrong.
Doctor Strange is probably the only one you can do without spoilers. If you can, I'd recommend getting through most of Season 2 without posting and then watch the remaining films in order, that way you aren't spoiled and you're able to watch without getting too jumbled up.
While it has no direct tie in to AoS it fits in best of you watch it between seasons 3 and 4. The tone of the movie and a number of effects show up in season 4.
@@tashatipton2141 Deadpool is a must see, and might be one of the few X-Men characters to survive Disney buying Fox. Ryan Reynolds is so good that recasting him for the MCU just wouldn't work. Anyways, Deadpool would be good to watch if you want a break from the show. The rest of the X-Men movies are hit or miss, but the first two are pretty good.
Ant-Man contains quite a few references to Age Of Ultron so, you need to watch Avengers 2 first. The closest thing to a stand alone movie left in the MCU is Doctor Strange, since you already watched Guardians of The Galaxy 2. All the others are pretty tightly connected to one film or another that you haven't got to yet. That's the big problem doing a weekly tv show connected to films that come out many months apart.

I agree with most of the comments on the movies. While I love Ant-Man (he my favorite marvel character) it's a better experience to keep them in order. I recommend not watching any movie in between season 1 and 2.
You can watch Age of Ultron before the season 2,there´s no problem with that but you will understand a few things once you watch epidode 2x19 and 2x20. BTW after season 2 it doesn´t really matter the order you watch the show and the movies, they aren´t connected too much.
I would say now first age of ultron. At the end of season 2 it get announced but you kan watch it without spoilers. At the end i would watch infinity war before ant-man.
I think watched guardians to fast then you could watch them while watching season 2. But you can't reverse that. The thing is that ag of ultron is connected to the end of season 2, so if you watch it before ep20 s2, you will more and more get disconnected from the movies.
Your next Marvel movie to watch should be Avengers: Age of Ultron so watch what ever episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 first and then the movie.
Hello Tasha. You should watch Avengers Age of Ultron first, then Ant Man. You can’t switch those bc Spoilers on Ant Man for Ultron. You could watch other non MCU Marvel movies(X Men, FF, Deadpool) in the meantime, since you goin to watch AOS S2 before Ultron. bc you will have to wait till ep 19/20 of S2. That’s when the Ultron connection comes.

You can't do ant man yet since they kind of spoil what happens in age of ultron. Age of Ultron is really the next movie in line. But if you really have to do a movie, I guess do Captain Marvel because it doesn't really spoil future movies.
Do not watch Ant-Man before Age of Ultron. It specifically takes place directly after Ultron. So there would be spoilers if you did. But you also need to wait to watch Ultron after the AOS episode titled ‘The Dirty Half Dozen’. Also, I noticed other people commenting that you can watch Ant-Man and the Wasp before Infinity War. @@tashatipton2141 That’s kind of the problem you created with the order you chose. This would’ve been a great time to watch both Guardian movies. I know that’s the official order suggested if you do it chronologically, but to be honest, there’s really nothing substantial indicating why both Guardians do take place during the time it says. The X-Men movies are good, well, most of them are, but none connect with the MCU, so it’d be just like watching any random movie to fill the slot. But Deadpool might be good to watch if you truly need a break in between episodes of AOS. You could also start Agent Carter if you want. I know that would be kind of messing up the chronology, since it’s set right after the first Captain America, but unless I’m mistaken, I don’t recall anything happening in any of the episodes that would serve as spoilers for future MCU films. I could be wrong though; I have only seen each episode once, back when they were first released.

Ant-Man has a reference to Age of Ultron in it -- there's a reason they're meant to be watched in order. I'd just keep going with Shield until it's time for AoU.
Also, that wasn't Garrett that shot the dog, it was Ward. They were drawing a parallel between the dog and FitzSimmons--that Ward would rather kill from a distance when it's someone he cares about (but he'll still kill them).

I like X-Men, but my vote will rest on whether that means pushing back Agents. If yes, I vote save them for later :) If you want movie-length, the first two eps of season 2 go well together.

Watch Age of Ultron AFTER the episode of Shield called The Dirty Half Dozen. 2x19. The ending of 2x19 leads into Ultron, and 2x20 discusses the fallout and what happens in the movie.
I don't think waiting for the direct tie ins are essential for any of the remaining movies.

Season 2 ties in with Avengers 2 but it's not pertinent to hold off watching the movie. This works well as an after the fact you find out some cool tie in.

So glad you got this through the copywrite problem! Great reaction, so worth the wait. Speaking of which, I'd hold off on the movies and binge AOS with the movies as an occasional cool SFX blowout at the appropriate points. After all, there's was more AOS and no hurry to see all the movies right away. Also, the movies can feel a bit less cool if all watched too quickly. They were big events at the time!

@@tashatipton2141 Why not? I'd watch. I've seen the first five X-men movies and I love Deadpool. If you haven't seen it, it's a surprising change of pace from... anything, really. There are some jokes about the X-men movies in it and about X-men origins: Wolverine (which introduced Deadpool in a way which annoyed people who like Deadpool and got declared 'non-canon'), but I'm not sure I'd recommend sitting through it and making a reaction video for that!)
Still, a Deadpool reaction would be great and an X-men one would be fun as a comparison to the MCU style of movie.

P.S. Did you get my trivia about Man-Thing last episode? A movie you might want to consider watching, although it's not part of the MCU.
I would argue that the end credits scene for Antman & the Wasp doesn't spoil too much if you don't already know what happens in Infinity War. I could be wrong, but I only know of one way we can find out and that's to let the watch order stand.

Taken in context (by watching Infinity War first), the scene has its intended impact and is far more enjoyable... and terrifying. After considering what you said, I stand by my original recommendation that Infinity War should certainly be watched first.
i would say thats its ok to watch ant man and the wasp before infinity war IF you skip the post credit scenes for them and go back the them after infinity war
@@ryanthompson9139 that’s exactly what I was going to say. I love chronological order... you just have to skip certain post credits scenes and come back to them at the appropriate time.
So if you want to watch things in perfect order you should watch Age of Ultron after 2x19, but it really isn't that important as there won't be any spoilers. Also it would mean you wouldn't have another marvel reaction for a while.
All the remaining movies technically take place after Age of Ultron. Agents season 3 makes a small reference to Ant Man. I highly recommend holding off until you get to the Shield episode that leads directly into the movie

@@tashatipton2141 that’s a good idea. Also it’s episode 19 of the second season that leads directly Age of Ultron. Once you’ve watch episode, you’ll be good to watch Age of Ultron. I know it’s ways away but it’ll be worth it. After that, Shield will continue to make smaller references to the movies but not like before.

You mentioned that you thought it was Garrett that shot the dog. No. That was Ward. He's just too weak to shoot it in the face as he couldn't look at Fitz-Simmons. But without that look in the face, he could shoot the dog from range or not look at the pair. He has no good in him.

I’m trying to say this without spoilers about the next Avengers movie Age the of Ultron. There may be a mention in Agents of Shield related to that movie. However, I don’t think it’s that big where you should skip over the movie until you finally reach episode 19. I haven’t seen AOS in awhile so I might be wrong.

Doctor Strange is probably the only one you can do without spoilers. If you can, I'd recommend getting through most of Season 2 without posting and then watch the remaining films in order, that way you aren't spoiled and you're able to watch without getting too jumbled up.
Yes, Doctor Strange really doesn't reference any of the other movies.
While it has no direct tie in to AoS it fits in best of you watch it between seasons 3 and 4. The tone of the movie and a number of effects show up in season 4.

@@tashatipton2141 Deadpool is a must see, and might be one of the few X-Men characters to survive Disney buying Fox. Ryan Reynolds is so good that recasting him for the MCU just wouldn't work.
Anyways, Deadpool would be good to watch if you want a break from the show. The rest of the X-Men movies are hit or miss, but the first two are pretty good.

Ant-Man contains quite a few references to Age Of Ultron so, you need to watch Avengers 2 first. The closest thing to a stand alone movie left in the MCU is Doctor Strange, since you already watched Guardians of The Galaxy 2. All the others are pretty tightly connected to one film or another that you haven't got to yet. That's the big problem doing a weekly tv show connected to films that come out many months apart.
Ward's earlier insistence that he's not a Nazi...well my understanding is that the dog thing, is the same thing the Nazi Youth were put through.

I agree with most of the comments on the movies. While I love Ant-Man (he my favorite marvel character) it's a better experience to keep them in order. I recommend not watching any movie in between season 1 and 2.

You can watch Age of Ultron before the season 2,there´s no problem with that but you will understand a few things once you watch epidode 2x19 and 2x20. BTW after season 2 it doesn´t really matter the order you watch the show and the movies, they aren´t connected too much.

I would say now first age of ultron. At the end of season 2 it get announced but you kan watch it without spoilers.
At the end i would watch infinity war before ant-man.
I think watched guardians to fast then you could watch them while watching season 2. But you can't reverse that. The thing is that ag of ultron is connected to the end of season 2, so if you watch it before ep20 s2, you will more and more get disconnected from the movies.

You could watch other non MCU Marvel movies(X Men, FF, Deadpool) in the meantime, since you goin to watch AOS S2 before Ultron. bc you will have to wait till ep 19/20 of S2. That’s when the Ultron connection comes.

You can't do ant man yet since they kind of spoil what happens in age of ultron. Age of Ultron is really the next movie in line. But if you really have to do a movie, I guess do Captain Marvel because it doesn't really spoil future movies.
Do not watch Ant-Man before Age of Ultron. It specifically takes place directly after Ultron. So there would be spoilers if you did. But you also need to wait to watch Ultron after the AOS episode titled ‘The Dirty Half Dozen’.
Also, I noticed other people commenting that you can watch Ant-Man and the Wasp before Infinity War. I believe I already warned you against this. If you watch the mid-credits scene in Ant-Man/Wasp, it will totally ruin the climactic conclusion to Infinity War, and you’ll be severely disappointed.

@@tashatipton2141 That’s kind of the problem you created with the order you chose. This would’ve been a great time to watch both Guardian movies. I know that’s the official order suggested if you do it chronologically, but to be honest, there’s really nothing substantial indicating why both Guardians do take place during the time it says.
The X-Men movies are good, well, most of them are, but none connect with the MCU, so it’d be just like watching any random movie to fill the slot. But Deadpool might be good to watch if you truly need a break in between episodes of AOS. You could also start Agent Carter if you want. I know that would be kind of messing up the chronology, since it’s set right after the first Captain America, but unless I’m mistaken, I don’t recall anything happening in any of the episodes that would serve as spoilers for future MCU films. I could be wrong though; I have only seen each episode once, back when they were first released.
