Hi there...I want to replace them on my Corsa..but the one on the car has no bolts like that one.its 3 pins it's like they were pressed..how do I remove them or should I use a grinder
@@mathewwade1415 Yeah, I did cut the rivets but the holes on the ball joint and those on the control arm did not match in size, so what I did was drill them up to size and bolt them down with bigger bolts. Worked out fine.
Wtf? Is that it???? That's not even 30 minutes of work! Granted, the tracking would need re-doing just to make sure everything is straight but bloody hell, the whole job is easy! Autodoc, what about a suspension arm replacement? Could you do one of these?
Thank you for your feedback! This video is considered to be an informative one in the replacement sequence, so we unscrew or loosen some units beforehand. Watch out for our upgrades. Be sure that the video you are interested in will appear.Best regards, Autodoc.
@@autodocuk Autodoc is such a good idea. From online app sales to TH-cam fitting instructions. I got my parts in 3 days from Germany to the UK - quite impressed with that! 👍 If we are outside of the EU, that could take up to a whole week because of customs checking... and we'll probably have to pay extra for import tax.. Brexit sucks. I hope to continue to use Autodoc for many years to come...

Get rid of the stupid porno background music! And also these are riveted on so please explain?
Fakeeeee as corsa ball joins are riveted in!!!!
Thank you for your feedback! This assembly provides for the bolt joint, and this made it possible for us to replace them. Best regards, Autodoc.
Can a bolted ball joint be installed on a riveted type control arm by cutting the rivets?
@@Verschlimmbesserung yes but once you cut them off then the holes are larger then the screw that come with a new ball joint, just doesn't fit rite

That's not a ball joint
bdavies1995 it's not I have replaced many of them and this isn't one
if its not a ball joint then what is it?
In this particular video tutorial it is shown how to replace a ball joint.
That is a rivet type ball joint.
I thought that, he would have had more of a problem taking it off had it been riveted, obvious it had been off before.

It's only easy as his ball joint is bolted on, like mine has to be ground off!!! Much fun
