Could anyone help me with a problem I'm having making this plush? I can't get the head to stay 'stuffed' in some of the outer seams. I'm guessing it's the stuffing I'm using (old pillow stuffing)? Do I need something less dense? I can't think what else could be causing it. If you happen to read this Dollphin, could you share what stuffing you used or what you think I should try? It's really affecting his overall look which is pretty depressing given how long I spent on him.
this is SO late i hope you fixed this but did you use a sewing machine for most of the seams (not including the ladder attach section)! not having very sturdy stitches is a problem on machines and hand sewing but mainly hand sewing. of course machine stitching has its problems if you dont have the tension set up correctly since it depends on your fabric... HOWEVER i think the main thing is that you didnt stuff it enough!! i would use polyfill but if you have some more of that old pillow stuffing stuff it a bunch. you should "overstuff" it :) understuffing can make it look lumpy. are the other body parts giving you this issue?

I‘ve never sewed anything in my life hahah, but I‘ll try making this one (with a lil help from my granny). Could you please tell me what kind of stitch you used? I want to do it with a sewing machine, I‘m using a soft fleece fabric.
Like with most machine sewing, you just need to use a straight stitch! Make sure to backstitch at the start of every seam, and use a needle made for stretch fabrics (I think it's called a ballpoint needle?) If you need some more guidance, take a look at some of cholyknight's tutorials (on their website, just look up the name)
