Northern Lights, 1927

This piece was inspired by a beautiful work of art painted in 1927 by Sydney Laurence, please see en.wikipedia.o....
For me, there's something about the heavy sky broken by filaments of the Northern Lights over a cold landscape with the nestled cabin that I found inspiring - the coldness and silence in the air and magical play of light changing and reflecting in the snow...
I also took the painting to Runway and created an AI generated video and, the very first time, it created an awesome video, that you'll see as the scene changes in the track about halfway through.
