    that's a really amazing path. i use a power wheelchair. im from georgia USA. nothing like that here for pedestrians and wheelchairs. wow i would love to go there and ride that path in my chair. thanks for sharing.

      Thank you for watching. It's a long bike path and in some parts there are hardly any cyclists around. So you can get away from the crowded city in under half an hour on a bike.

    Hi. I have one too and live near Seoul. I see some signs now along the Han River with "X" thru pics of these PED devices. Are they really not allowed? I have seen people riding them so just not sure.

      Electric bikes/scooters/ninebots are not allowed in parks and bike lanes which are inside parks but it is not a traffic law. It is a city park rule that is being contested in court. The police cannot charge you for a violation but park monitors can fine you. The city bureaucrats do not want anyone to fly drones, ride electric scooters or book a ride on a non-Korean ride-sharing service. There are many city bans in Seoul.

    Nice video.
    Smooth ride, you sure enjoyed for two hours !!
    I'm still waiting for delivery of my NineBot Mini pro I bought on 2 april.
    What Cam did you use for this footage?

    • @lqfave
      @lqfave 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really good . I'll go for one . No match 4me with other Action Cam.The stabilization is really effective and the sensation to fly smootly is relaxing. Good using the tape which is lighter. Hope to see your new video ,now I'm cheching the old ones. Have a nice day!

    This is my Sunday afternoon viewing! I’m at 1:04:00 really enjoying it. I’ve recently purchased a miniPro. I used to have the i167. How badly did your feet hurt at the end of the ride?

    • @iluvtech6557
      @iluvtech6557  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, my feet were okay but my legs were stiff at end of the trip. Thanks for watching!

    Did you have to ride the tilt back most of the way? I only have about 200km, but the tilt back still scares me, I feel like I'd almost lost my balance because of it.

    • @iluvtech6557
      @iluvtech6557  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It will tilt back when the voltage is too high. For example, when I'm going down a steep hill, which triggers battery regeneration, but my battery is nearly at 100%. So the regen is pushing the battery charge over 100%. Thanks for watching.

    was it 22 miles "round trip"?
    or was it 22 miles from point A to point B?

    • @iluvtech6557
      @iluvtech6557  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Oh, it was 22 miles from point A to point B. I had to recharge my batteries to get back home. Thanks for watching!

    which city it is?

    Did you do anything different to achieve this range? Use a battery conditioner on the batteries to deep cycle charge them?

    • @builtwildnaylor1034
      @builtwildnaylor1034 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cool trick. Just keep it some place where a fire isn't a problem.
      Stock Segway battery packs cost $180-ish. If your technician replaced the stock LG brand MG1 series batteries (2.85Ah) with one of the bigger capacity LG batteries (MJ1 series at 3.5Ah), that would be cool.
      If it was a no name brand battery, you would be taking chances with their manufacturing quality control (possible fires).

      Well played sir! Unfortunate on the fall but the improved range is certainly impressive and useful. My Segway MiniPro arrives tomorrow and I'm excited. Finally broke down and bought it even though my employer won't allow me to use it in the building in spite of my permanent foot injury. My wife will enjoy my new mobility for walks and shopping together. Keep up the great work on the vids! Cheers!

      After a while, it becomes an extension of your feet. Just be sure not to turn while backing. The steering stick directs the nose of the mini pro, not the tail. While rolling backwards, the tail turns the opposite way the stick moves.
      Just watch Ellen Degeneres crash her segway on her show to see turning while backing issues. Lots of videos of people wrecking while backing up and turning just when they feel they have the hang of it.
      The used battery for $250 sounds like the one for the full size i2 Segway.

    Better this or electric scooter like ninebot es2?

    • @iluvtech6557
      @iluvtech6557  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would get the es2 because it's faster. The Ninebot Minipro can only do 18 kph (11.2 mph). There's also a learning curve with the Minipro. It's easy to learn how to ride it as a beginner but mastering it takes a while. Avoiding pedestrians who are coming straight at you and swerving out of the way of cars that come at you sideways happens frequently due to the relatively high speed of the Minipro and it's whisper-quiet operation. Lots of times, pedestrians get startled when I pass them because they cannot hear me coming. Cars don't stop right away when they see you because they assume you are moving at a normal walking speed and only see the Ninebot afterward. So you have to anticipate their slow reaction.

      ES2 costs twice as much and is a little less convenient to store. Minipro requires a lot of focus and concentration to make sure you dont fall off. It's not as carefree and easy as a scooter where you can ride around without paying attention to anything. If you want to save money, get a mini. If you want to enjoy your ride a little more, get an ES2.
