Wow, I didn't know this collection was out there. When I used to listen to AC religiously they had lots of live recordings freely available on their website but we were sorely deprived of a vinyl pressing. Any band with the balls to perform a fan-favourite in a completely new way live get my respect. I always loved the live version of We Tigers more than the album. Also Hey Light and Who Could Win A Rabbit. I'm really pleased to see they included a track frm Panda Bear's massively underrated Young Prayer. The only track I would have liked to see here they didn't add is Taste PI, I always enjoyed the lyrics more than the ones that made the final cut oon Merriweather.
+Joshua Lunn This stuff was recorded a lot earlier than Taste PI even existing. This is all from 2000 to 2003. So it wasn't really a matter of them performing a fan favorite in a new way, it's moreso that they hadn't even decided how they were going to record it for the album to even BECOME a fan favorite yet.
I remember listening to this in 2018 or so. I was a junior with a lot of medical problems, hoping life would get better. Little did I know lol. But 6 damn years wow...nostalgia is a uniquely painful feeling.
