The people of Uttar Pradesh will soon get the gift of another expressway. Next month the people of UP can get the gift of Bundelkhand Expressway. More than 94 percent physical work of Bundelkhand Expressway has been completed. It is expected that by June 20, the work of Bundelkhand Expressway will be completed. The Bundelkhand Expressway via Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Oraiya and Etawa districts will connect the country's capital Delhi with the help of Agra Expressway and Yamuna Expressway. This expressway to be built at a cost of 14849.09 crores will be no less than a boon for the Bundelkhand region. This expressway, about 296 km long, is currently four-lane and there are plans to expand it to six-laning in the future.
According to UPEDA, the construction work of three out of four railway over bridges of the expressway has been completed. Apart from this, the construction work of 14 out of 19 flyovers of the expressway has also been completed. The construction work of bridge over Yamuna river and Betwa river has also been completed in record time. The bridge being built on the Ken river will also be completed in the next 15 days. For the safety of the passengers, 15 patrolling vehicles will be deployed on the expressway. A service road of 3.75 meters width has been built on the expressway in a staggered form.
