DC gets clowned but in my opinion they have the top super hero movies on lock. Man of Steel, Dark Knight, Joker, and Snyder Cut are all better than anything in the MCU and I'm a fan of the MCU.
The Flash will be up there with Superman 78, Superman II, Batman 89, Batman Returns, Wonder Woman and Ninja Turtles 1990. Will it be the greatest superhero movie of all time? Hard to top Superman II and Batman Returns, they were just too perfect. However, it will be ONE of the greatest, and honestly, it'll be a great movie overall. Something that cannot be said about a majority of DC, Marvel or original superhero content. The dog shit outweighs the gold, sadly. But The Flash, I'm telling you now, it'll never get better than this in modern times. I don't blame anyone if The Flash is their official exit from the comic book genre, BECAUSE it was so damn good and everything else will never measure up.
Im curious what happens and why Zod is back. Did Flash do something and Kal never came to earth and instead, he's looking for Kara??? They did make it clear that there was an open whatever inside the spaceship
they have 3 plotlines going, so based on the 3 stories and what i see here. In the comic stories one timeline clark came to earth but was captured instead of growing up in smallville, and was locked away for study. Supergirl arrived on earth following him when he was a baby but was suspended in her space ship for years, he was grown by the time she freed herself. It seems in this movie clark arrived and was suspended in his spaceship and supergirl arrived after him, but SHE was the one captured and locked away. I think but i'm not sure that the scene where she is trying to break a pod with the big spear pole might be trying to break out Clark after they find him. Maybe her flying up to the sky with someone is her flying Clark up to the sun to heal after she gets him out.

it;s based on Flashpoint a little different than the animated movie or the show or comics, but same premise
