haha, YES, my username has too many numbers, LOL. I know. How are your rear shocks? Mine work, but are pretty stiff, would be great to figure out how to loosen them up on the cheap. what do you think?
hybrid32494 mine are stiff if it has been sitting on the bench for a period of time it’s almost like the bushings on the control arms are too tight or sticking or something. But as soon as I push down on the suspension it breaks free and operates smoothly until it sets again. I’ve been thinking about just letting it ride To see if it just needs worked in more.
Had the same problem with my baja q. The shocks on my hpi baja are buttery smooth in comparison. I drilled two more holes in the pistons and went with hpi springs. Much smoother now albeit still not as smooth as the hpi. I disassembled the entire shock to try and narrow it down and the sticking ends up being at the piston and shock body contact. It could either be the tolerance to tight or unsmooth machining which you can see from the inside shock body.
Dennis Kokkinos mine were sticking at the double spring connector put some WD-40 and good to go. Now knowing that wd-40 attracts dust I have shock socks ordered.

Mine had slight horizontal machining lines on the inside shock body, not something that makes a shock smooth. Also the front of the baja q was so ridiculously stiff, doesn't need to be that stiff when there's not that much weight up front.

Is the clutch not grabbing good?.....seems like it over revs b4 moving.....maybe sucky clutch shoes n springs
Nope 👎 it has an 8000 rpm clutch.
I've heard and seen people use 5000rpm clutch and it helps alot but dont have as much explosive power once it grabs.
Been looking at these. And saw you say they're having issues with 36cc. So should I get 30.5 , 36, or 45cc
I would get a 30.5 or a 45 stay away from the 36 in my opinion.
