amazing....but so many questions......what if you have a big intricate cut that takes 1 1/2 hours to do. say you run for 20 minutes and get tired? you say you can pick up where you left off. do you leave router on?...can you turn it off, and leave the program on?? leave in place? if you turn it off, when you come back, to resume, will it start from the beginning? downside might be on doing these long and intricate cuts. you obviously have to man the router all the time. size is the big advantage. with a regular cnc, if it fits inside, you start it and let it do its thing till finished. even for 1 1/2 hours.
Hi Glenn, As long as Origin can see the tape used to cut your project it can pick up where you left off. It will load the workspace, including cut information, from memory when it sees the tape field used in that project. Workstation makes it easy to return to many workspaces because the domino field is static and you can load any workspace you previously cut provided you haven't manually deleted it! This is like a perfect use case. You can’t CNC it, it’s he floor. It would be a pain to hand cut, and precision is important.
