@@notunique1288 wild dogs have a vastly shorter lifespan than dogs with a owner, same thing happens with cats. Some domestic animals can certainly survive by themselves outside and live long enough to breed but it takes a serious toll on their health and lifespan.
Remember that mother nature doesnt give a single shit about the individual of any species, all that sadistic bitch cares about is the survival of the species. if you can breed at age 1 you die at age 2 and that's the way mother nature likes it.

Haha yes. One of my dogs understands the concept... "outside" /get out in the kitchen perfectly when I prepare his food. His fore paws connect more or less perfectly to the kitchen's tiles / his nails and a bit more touch the tiles. It's so adorable. Yep you pushed the limit as far as it goes.

In fact, most people living in urban areas have to deal with city noises all night, so they'd probably handle it better than anyone living on a huge country property, lmao. I had a neighbor that had two husky pups. When the first snow storm came, those pups where in their own little heaven running around in the snow non-stop, and the owner just could not understand it. I had to tell the guy, "Dude, you bought a pair of animals that were bred for winter. Just let them go in the back yard, they will be fine. Hell, when they finally do shiver, they will sooner bury themselves in the snow to protect from the wind sooner than they will go inside."
Sure enough, they made themselves their own little "igloo" no matter how much he called for them to come in.

Brian Williams actually, in my country this dogs are rarely live indoors. My family used have a husky, he lived all his life in the booth in the aviary. Expect when it was too cold or too hot. Only then he was staying in the house and he didn’t like it that much. He lived very happily with a German shepherd. He played in the snow all the time, climb cars in the yard then slide down from them in the winter, was always hunting for something...once he murdered nearly all the grass and flowers around the house while hunting for a mole, my mom nearly had a heart attack) I miss those beautiful blue eyes, but since I leave in apartment and have no yard I would never get a husky now, that’s not a good life for them. Watching the video I kept thinking why don’t they just build something outside for him for when he wants to stay outside. Huskies are very different than other dogs, you cannot compare them. They often do what they want and communicate on their own terms, very smart but independent and hyperactive.

I had one and loved him to death but never again I felt so bad for him in the summertime. The shedding was ridiculous to . Dog hair everywhere .
Their coat actually helps regulate their body temp, that’s why you never shave huskies or malamutes unless it’s for a medical reason.
@cloudyyo our dogs are outside 100% of the time they love outside we give them the option to come in but as one we can't get our hands on the second only came in when his mom who passed came in and the other only comes in during storms it's impossible but we cover them up well in the winter time and keep plenty of water for them in the summer

They are literally built for cold weather, it is their element! They are more closely related to wolves than any other dog breed!
So you don't mind showing everyone you don't know shit about animals that live in the cold. Huskies develop to live in extremely cold weathers, which means what many of you seem to have trouble understanding: they don't fell okay in the warmth all the time and I'm sure as hell that Husky didn't want to come in because he'd rather stay in the cold, giving his grown hair. Imagine being indoors with all the heat up But with the winter outside clothes. That is what it's like for the Huskies.
People, if you don't give a shit about animals, and treat them for what you want them to do and not what they need, just accept you are abusive to animales, don't pretend you love them when you don't care for the suffering.

@@heavensennamon1938 I know that part since they can handle -60°F (-52°C) with their full coat, but I think she'd only let them play in the daytime because that's the only time when she can open the door for them so they can eat, drink, and sleep, and make sure that there is no danger from other animals if there is any that don't hibernate. But if she leaves him out in the night she'll probably wake up in the middle of the night to whining husky wanting to come in for even if there is no reason 🤣

I love Huskies and I wanted one so bad but I'm not in the position to be able to properly raise one so I decided against it but I met my amazing pitbull buddy who fortunately for me loves to sleep and is incredibly well behaved
Yeah, that whining is highly annoying to me. Plus I've heard they're very energetic, which wouldn't be suitable for my small home.
Cella I different breeds of husky are very different, however they all share the same trait that they were bred for work. Siberian huskies which are probably the most common are also the most difficult to work with, mainly because they are less pack-oriented than other dogs therefor you get the stubborn traits from them. Other mixed breeds such as the Alaskan husky are much more social, and are less stubborn than the Siberian’s. However both are extremely energetic due to their strictly working breed. They are rather high maintenance as a pet in a urban environment as well due to the fact that they shed a lot, love to run, and if they don’t run they start playing around with stuff they shouldn’t.
In order to deal with their energy I would recommend either ski or bike joring in order to give yourself an easier time getting the distance and speed they want.
Unless you do know what you are getting into I would recommend against owning any breed of husky unless you expect to use them for work.
I got lucky with my husky. He doesn't hardly ever make a peep! He's more than capable of being vocal, he's just always had a more calm/quiet personality, even when he was little.
