Thank you for this video. I have sailed for many years. Have been to Block, Martha’s Vinyard, Cutty Hunk and Newport. This does bring back fond memories. Yes - Up in New England, on the water we still see how it was. I guess I am still from the old school. This is still where it is at. Thanks again for the video. You did capture what New England & Block is ALL ABOUT. Thanks:
What an exhilarating adventure! The offshore sailing back to the Chesapeake Bay looked absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for sharing this incredible experience with us. Your channel always delivers such exciting content. Till next time, hold fast and keep sailing! Fairwinds on your future journeys. Cheers!
Hi Dale, Ted Petrocci from Regent Point. Great work on this trip. There are 5 boats heading up and planning pretty much the same cruise this weekend to spend the month sailing around up there. We plan to come back thru the Sound and then out of NY bay. Your video will help with some routing ideas. Stay well and joyful.
They sure don't buit them like S/V Quetzal anymore! I have seen dolphins playing in the waves less delicate than the way this marvelous boat cuts through them with its beautiful bow. Amazing, Thanks capitao. (The way you are fitting and maintaining her you will never be able to afford to hire me for my cooking talents! Or fill the pantry and freezer. Or restock the rum quota. Oh no!)
Great sail thanks for taking us along. Till next time Hold Fast!!!
Thanks for watching!

🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice sail!
Cheers!
I new I should have bought the other 56 that looked like a great trip. nice and smooth
You can still buy her! 😃👍
Wonderful sail and wonderful boat. Can you tell which boat is she?
Is she the same Quetzal as John Kretschmer's?
She is a Cabo Rico 56. John Kretschmer’s boat is a Kaufman 49. I like to tease him that “he wishes this was his Quetzal!”
@@TheCorsair thank you. As I wrote, wonderful Boat. I have an Island Packet 40, and at the age of 74 I am learning to go cruising, mostly solo.
Very nice video
Thanks Chuck! What are you up to this winter?
@@TheCorsair I would like to motor/sail out to Cape Henry to do some whale watching. Are you heading south?
Awesome. -Jeremy
Thanks!
There’s so many amateurs doing you tubes now. It’s nice to click on a sight where people know what they’re about.
Where are you off to now ?
Florida and hopefully the Bahamas
@@TheCorsair Sounds fantastic , hope its a good trip. Looking forward to the videos . I take it you are not doing the ditch , aka mast height .
Obi-Wan @ 8:30
These aren’t the dolphins you’re looking for…🤣🤣🤣🤣
"something i would expect to see in africa" lol and it would still be working like that every day some how with bubblegum holding it together
Yep. Lived in Morocco for a number of years and spent some time in Liberia. This tug would be a first rate ship of the line over there 🤣🤣🤣!
