Just bought a twenty one, it was a steal. 58k out the door. 20k miles. Fully blacked out se sport 7 passenger 6.6. Owned a noisy 97 1500 with a 305. This experience is night and day compared to the 97. A pleasure to drive and so far the family approves. We can talk to each other. I couldn't hear anyone in the back with the 97. Drove it home from Florida. Performed incredible. Passing, no problem. Maintaining 70/90 mph, average mpg 14.3, no problem. It is a Denali on steroids. A luxury jet feel while driving. Front end is sick. As my friend stated after me following him back to his house "looks absolutely awesome. Front end is intimidating to see in the rear view mirror." My only complaint. It doesn't need 12 cup holders. 1 cup holder per seat. I wish they would make 1 cup holder area as a wireless charging pad. Also would like to see all interior lighting dimmable. Other than that it's an amazing experience.

Trying to convince my wife we need one of these. We currently have a short wheel base Yukon and it's not nearly enough for trips. We fold the 3rd row down and fill that up, cram stuff up front, and also have a luggage rack attached to the hitch. That's with 2 children, one of which being special needs so we have some extra stuff to bring for him. One of the great things about these vans is that they can also be upfitted for wheel chair.
My parents had two of these vans while I was growing up and we loved them. You can't beat the comfort and space. Great review btw! You explain everything very well. I agree, the v8 is definitely the best route to take for the powertrain because the v6 is gonna work too hard in the 2500 chassis. I wish they would offer the Duramax diesel, even if it was the 3.0 inline 6. That would help so much with fuel mileage.

Nothing has changed but the chassis GM doesn’t have that piff like they use to.

odd question but how high is this thing from ground to highest roof point? I really want something like this but wondering if it will clear my garage entrance or not.

You would need at least at 8ft height door. This wouldn't fit in a standard 7ft door height garage.
