750MC Winter Sim Championship Round 4 Oulton Park - Race 3

I have entered my first Sim racing championship. Racing against real life racers, Sim racers and novices, like me !!
This is Round 4 (of 5) at the Oulton Park International circuit, driving the Radical SR3 XXR (Bikesport) with 1500cc tuned motorcycle engines in Assetto Corsa with custom track and car mods.
Race 3 (of 3), 15 minute races.
Lap 1
Started 16, got a good start, held my position through turn 1, 2 cars went off in turn 2, up to 14th
I was a little slow out of turn 2 which allowed a car to get a slipstream and get inside me in the very fast Island Bend. I had to lift off the throttle a little so i didn't run wide and off the track. He also lifted so he didn't run wide into me. He got past me going into Shell Oils Hairpin, The Hairpin was chaotic with several cars already spun and recovering. He then lost the rear end and went off on the inside, hit another spun car on the grass which slid back onto the track right in front of me. I hit it and several cars then hit me. I eventually turned round and got going again in 26th place but with some damage and reduced down force.
I passed 2 cars that went off at the Hislop's chicane now 24th.
Lap 2
I lost the rear end (damage and reduced down force) going into turn 1 (Old Hall Corner), Did a 360 spin but didn't hit anything or anyone but lost 3 places now 27th.
I caught up with the 2 cars in front of me but one of the had a sudden server lag / ping delay. It looked like it was going straight off the circuit so i thought i had been gifted a position, but the car jumped about then reappeared in my car and this fired me off the track. I braked hard but still hit the barrier. I got into reverse but didn't go anywhere. I tried first gear but still didn't move. I thought i'd broken the transmission but then noticed grass and dirt being thrown up from the spinning wheels. As i couldn't move i had to retire. When i checked the replay i saw that the car was beached on a small hump.
Finished 29th. With a Non-Points scoring Guest driver ahead of me i'm classified 28th
Race 3
Lap 1
Started 29th Initially got a good start but the car in front made a bad start. I had to lift and swerve to miss him But i managed to him and another car into turn 1.
Coming out of turn 1 a few cars had got together, i had to swerve left and onto the grass to miss them, ended up 26th. Passed another car into turn 2 then passed a few more in turn 2, up to 21st.
Passed da car that went wide at the Hislop's chicane, 20th.
Got slowed up a bit by 2 cars fighting in the Knickerbrook chicane. Slipstreamed and out braked one of the into Lodge Corner (last corner) and passed another car that had gone wide there. now 17th.
Lap 2
Chasing the car in front and defending the car behind into Hislop's chicane, I took a bit too much kerb and spun. I might have got a slight tap from behind ? got going again in 23rd place.
I had to defend up Clay Hill and pat the Water Tower. Going into the very fast Druids Corner with full commitment, 2 cars that probably made contact where getting back on track, i just managed to squeeze between then but went over the exit kerb onto the grass but managed to ease back onto the track. up to 21st
I had to defend into defend into Lodge Corner, kept it clean and kept my position.
Lap 3
2 cars retired ? up to 19th.
Passed a car that had spun in Hislop's chicane, up to 18th.
Lap 4
Had a moment on the kerb as i passed 2 cars that went off in Cascades up to 16th.
Chasing the car in front
Lap 5
Still chasing the car in front until he went wide at Hislop's chicane and the car chasing me also spun. up to 15th
Laps 6 to 8 just pushing hard no cars around me. Passed a car that went off at the Shell Oils Hairpin up to 14th.
Laps 9 & 10 still pushing hard but no cars around me.
Finished 14th. With a Non-Points scoring Guest driver ahead of me i'm classified 13th
I am using the Oculus Rift S VR headset, A Playseat and a Logitec G29 Wheel & Pedals.
