Have you tried paladin builds vs ud? It is hard to stop heal dmg and invo on acolytes in the start, while you can boost your economy

Interesting choosing brilliance level 2 over water ele level 2. I would opt for water ele first for a push like this before the opo has dispel (e.g. walkers).
We are seeing more Brilliance level 3 when the Archmage is level 5 since dispel is in play by that time. You do want more claps, bolts, holy lights in the late game.
Usually the way it works is if AM doesn't get level 3 until MK is already leveled a bit, then you get brilliance 2. But if MK isn't out yet or 1.0 then water ele

I just want to point out that many of the map control and fight fundamentals and logic you describe here, are carbon copies in LoL. Im sure in a deeper lvl you feel it, i just wait for you to decode it and move as smoothly on Summoners Rift :)

How to play vs blademaster, Shadow hunter , spirit walkers, grunts and spirit walkers?
@Grubby why only priest? no sorc ? priests > sorc in this type of push? Would you add some sorc at some point?
And what would be the follow up of this game if the first attack doesnt work? Full T2? Expansion? T3 inner fire?
1 Base and 1 Sanctum. Timing isnt good for him.
Maybe, just maybe. Invis 2-3 mortars behind the enemy and then fight? They can't run too far. Mortars get murked without the grubsters micro. -cough Happys micro.
5. Ushould try hecarim in league
Humans are very strong in the initial phase and there troops are tough too. However, the only problem is, as an average player, you don't realize how your troops died so quickly despite having all armor maxed out. l am not professional player, don't make fun of me but this is the problem l face with human race.

so what's the reason for not getting any sorcs?
this seems to be a 1 Base Tier 2 Push strategy, meaning for this timing, grubby could support 1 Barracks and 1 Sanctum only, with his 1 base gold income (also did 1 attack upgrade as well as crucial items like healing scroll, invu and boots). my guess is there was neither time nor money nor production capacity yet, to add sorcs. and if you can only have one, the priests are more important. (but I´m just a casual player, so... ;)
@@nosebleed7 I think you're exactly right, the timing is too tight to have both sorcs+priests, so you can only pick the more important one.

I always see players like sok insisting on relying almost solely on footies, no priests or sorceresses, while always choosing archmage and building brilliance aura!! I just don't get it!! So many units, and ONLY the heroes benefit from it?? Seems like such a waste of level points!! I feel like human players don't explore the race's FULL POTENTIAL!!
That’s only against UD. Casters are terrible against standard UD because coil/nova/carrion insta wipes them and also casters move slow. Knight/gyro necessary for mobility.
In all other MU casters are essential.
But to your broader point, yes AM is weaker vs UD thus why mk is meta on every map except twisted meadows
Human has the choice to go for mages build, or gryphons build, or mechanical units build. Let's just say the mages build is easier to counter than the other ones, especially when fighting UD.
@@dark3031 They could summon water elementals with inner fire and devotion aura, use dragonhawks to jinx towers and capture air units, all that would benefit from brilliance aura. Of course it would require using a lot of MACRO, I never said playing with human is easy, but I am saying they can do so much more!!
Water elementals and buffs just get eaten by destroyers, who then turn around and AoE your army down since you just fed them a bunch of mana. Oh, and they're also immune to damage from sorcs/priests and can't get immobilized by dragonhawks. So basically everything you just mentioned is countered by a single unit.
@@ClearAlera I didn't remember destroyers being so good back when I played frozen throne!! They used to suck as I recall...
