Hugs love and kisses to you and your family Alec.. Looking forward to seeing more fantastic 😇 explores this coming year and having a blast with you and your good friends Will you be doing anymore mountaineering 🙏🏻💓💕
It looks like it's been rotting away for some time. I'm surprised it's not been demolished to clear the land. Interesting, explore guys. Thank you for sharing 😊
Beautiful work this. Your cinematography keeps getting better and better. I just wish you had subtitles for the dialogue. This Canadian fella can't understand half of what you say. Happy holidays and best wishes for the new year.
I was born here, explored it 10 years ago but stupidly only took photos … nice to see the operating theatre lights are still there now though! You were very brave risking around those police cameras though but glad you did as it is a personal bit of history for me and I’ve been wanting someone to do a video on it for years since ❤
Talk about a jungle here. What a pain to get through. Ouch! This place has been really trashed. Huge hospital. When and why did it close? Shame. Happy Christmas Alec.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
For the size of Scotland it does have many abandoned property’s not so much in the U.K. as house prices are once again going through the roof. My husband is an estate agent and as soon as property come comes up for sale in the SE they sell within hours even house that look wrecked🤣

My 4 kids were born there. It was the Queen Mother maternity hospital. Right next to Yorkhill Children's Hospital, which is still partially open as the Glasgow Ambulatory Clinic. Mixed feelings watching you pissing in the labour suites. Part of me wanted you to get caught 🤷🏼♂️
It’s a big place and will take a while to demolish, I think they only started last month. According to a new article they plan to have the site cleared by October next year.
Excellent footage lads!! Thoroughly enjoyed this entire video...but there's still something about operating theatre's that give me the heebie-jeebies 😨 Have a damned good Christmas guys...as for me, I have a date with a bottle of Glenmorangie, right next to the bonny, bonny banks 🥃

This is being demolished now
This is or was a maternity hospital my 2nd daughter was born in this hospital happy memories
This place is enormous 😂 You might need to find a hospital bed so you can take a rest half way 😂
Good few generations of my family where born in the queen mother including myself and my first born. Strange to see it in this condition
Merry Christmas
that armadillo looks very scary to me .😂
I’m surprised there were no nettles in amongst the shrubbery!
Is it just me or does Scotland have a lot of abandoned buildings
Yes but all over the UK there is plenty
Most hospitals and other public buildings have been closed under the special needs party, the police stations are next.

What happened to this hospital
Used the drone shot and google maps to find this, very busy site
Good effort! This place is now being actively stripped out and demolished.
Is there no more point to go there? I would have to travel from edinburgh

@averilwalker8131 that sounds awesome where you at in the world
@@ExploringwithAlec just at my happiest place, a remote uninhabited spot, right next to Loch Lomond..northwards in a day or so
@averilwalker8131 nice one shame about the weather though

Hospital i was born in
🙋♂️🎉🎅
Hi bud merry Christmas to you all
Ma è un edificio recente ! Perchè è stato abbandonato? Che spreco !
Not a mention anywhere of the name of the hospital. Western infirmary i suspect.
Nope, not that one. Names are not usually given to stop fireraisers etc.
