For the spartan If u get that splash guard across the back that goes jus below the lid it eliminates 95% of the water that gets in from the air holes in the back.
Thats full throttle on the blast? If so, hard pass. That's litterally a 10 yr olds boat. That spartan is much better based on this video. Need to see it full wide open though to determine if it's worth it.
My blast is fairly slow , I once stuck a prop in a turd wound it up with a rubber band and it beat the blast hands down.
This boat is a POS it leakes ,loud ,waste of money ,I’ll stick with M41 Widebody

How much run time on stock the blast?
The stock battery at full throttle lasts about 10 minutes
Put a tp power motor on it !!
All you have to do is get a fishing pole with a hook on it and pull the Rc boat out of the water
