Hands Down Fool Proof Recipe!!! I literally made this poundcake this morning for a brunch this afternoon. The cake was demolished in minutes. I shocked myself. So so proud. I love this cake & I always make it in a preheated cast iron Bundt pan. My favorite part is before flipping out the cake, I level it off with a bread knife, & I get to eat the crispy trimmed off top. BEST part of the cake! I also love the million dollar, & Kentucky butter cake.

This is the same recipe I always use, when I want to make it a lemon pound cake I add lemon extract and the zest of a lemon and I add a glaze. You are the first person I found did the same way I did. Great job and you are a very neat baker. I subscribed! Keep up the good work...

Nice meeting you Mz. T! When I lived in Charlotte NC I used White Lily flour & it makes an amazing cake! But, I’m here in the Bronx NY now & there is no White Lily flour anywhere to be found- 😢 a good substitute for it would best be Presto or Swans- any other type of Flour would prove to be a disaster- especially with this type of cake! Just wanted to let you know I followed your Pound Cake recipe and it turned out beautiful. I added almond extract along with the vanilla extract and I also added a half of teaspoon of salt to my flour. I also made a cream cheese frosting for the cake and it was a hit with my family they loved it. I made your German Chocolate cake too and it was also a hit. Thanks for sharing your recipes with us.

I did run into a problem I had a bundt cake pan, but I think it was the middle size BP not the bigger like your. How do you get it to break loose without tearing your cake? My oven wouldn’t hold the temp at 325 so I was trying to overcome the inconsistency in temperature, I’ve got to figure out how to fix that. Other than that, it turned out perfect. I used the original Bundt cake pan passed down from my great grandma, special. 💗 Thank you Mrs. Teresa!
I mixed it along with you in the video, I didn’t mix quite as long as you did (few seconds less than you each time) because my mixer low speed was a little faster than your stand mixer. I think next time I will mix it just a little less.

Hello, I was thinking about your cream cheese pound cake .I cooked it now I have to bake a lemon pound cake .Im going to use the same steps you did your cake but just add lemon zest and lemon extract and lemon juice. It can be just as good. Make sure you watch the mixing time, don't over mix your batter. Let me know how it goes. 🫶🏽
@@EricandTeresa I made it last night! The flavor is perfect. My oven wouldn’t hold the temp at 325 so I was trying to overcome the inconsistency in temperature, I’ve got to figure out how to fix that. Other than that, it turned out perfect. I used the original Bundt cake pan passed down from my great grandma, special. 💗 Thank you Mrs. Teresa!
I mixed it along with you in the video, I didn’t mix quite as long as you did (few seconds less than you each time) because my mixer low speed was a little faster than your stand mixer. I think next time I will mix it just a little less.

Welcome to the family, glad you like the cake! The reason I didn’t use powder or soda is because the buttermilk has the acidity in it to make the cake rise. Again welcome…

That was the right reason why there was no baking powder or baking soda in the poundcake. Check the description and just follow it I may have been mistaken about the buttermilk in this cake. this is Eric and I’m not the baker I’m the behind the scene guy🤣🥰.
