Christmas Timelapse 2020 - Celebrating in the time of COVID

- Tis the season, time for the annual Keller family holiday time lapse video. The story is essentially the same every year, except this year. The pandemic has defined Christmas 2020. The fear of COVID forced us to build socially distanced fences within the family, separating from each other out of “an abundance of caution.” No dinners. No travel. No time together. Of course, the holiday celebration is not the same. It can’t be. 2020's rituals are only a shell of our annual touchstones... moving in parallel within the four walls of our homes. We decorate the trees apart, but that action somehow brings us together. So this is our effort to craft some sort of “normal” from the turmoil that is the Keller Corona Christmas.

Wow, that was a great video and it really got me into a Christmas mood! Here in Sweden, we have been under the "influence" of a Russian high pressure, that have created an inversion over most of Sweden. So it has been warm (for December), cloudy and rainy - not the best "background" for Christmas.
