Stock STI transmissions are built so well. They are known to hold over 1000whp reliably. Car is awesome. Keep up the good work.

@jimihendrix731 seriously. The blocks have to be sleeved, o-ringed, and if power is high enough pinned mains to be reliable. The CNC insert only strengthens the top of the cylinder not the rest of the wall. Even with head studs they still blow head gaskets so need go combine with oring and then they are much better
What I remember the sti 6 speed Subaru spent loads on making a strong af transmission gears are like twice as thick as your standard 5 speed as for the ej25 wouldn’t waste my time on that I normally use the ej207 ra block they’re much stronger then a 25 or 257 normally do a destroked 2.35 then do the normal forged internals close decking 14mm head studs get the torque of a 2.5 ltr but revs out hard like a 2ltr

Well .. multiple hits on the street on stock oem 6speed tells me mine is hosed and needs a rebuild as its notchy and can't hit the 1-2 shift at all. Thanks for the vids guys

1000 hp on a stock transmission!?😮 what clutch do you have in it? This is the most wonderful news I have heard. I was under the impression that I would need to upgrade my tyranny after 800whp in my 06 sti. If this is true, this will save me a ton of money and time.

Could you do or explain a bit better of your launching specially for the stock trans. Are you dumping clutch or slipping it and are you preloading off the e brake. Much help appreciated
