Nice to see all you guys from the Veggie Boys and a Stable Life coming and visiting us in beautiful Canada. (Nova Scotia means in English - New Scotland.)
Was there in 2022… and learned no S…not St Johnsssssss ! The day we arrived, so did 2 other cruise ships…needless to say, there was a severe shortage of taxis. But one Syrian taxi was so compassionate of me with my dad in a wheelchair. He called a neighbor who had a mini van. The neighbor showed up in his family car.. stowed the car seats… loaded us and the wheelchair for a lovely day seeing the sights. He told us how wonderful the government had been welcoming the many refugees. They had a special neighborhood of housing…bi lingual teachers at the schools. He even drove us through their area ….
So glad your mother is doing better and Gavin’s back and you deserved a vacation. It looked like a beautiful trip and the picture of you and Megan (in her red dress and your suit) was stunning.
Yay your back glad you enjoyed your break 😊 Sorry Megan ended up with a cold 😞 Looking forward to seeing your Mom and updates on knee. Gavin looking handsome as always 😍 Enjoyed the video 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Love from the UK x
Nova Scotia was so pretty! I've never been on a vacation after high school where I wasn't under some family obligation and/or schedule. It would be nice to just go somewhere and do nothing but have fun. You guys look like you were having fun and that made me happy. 😊
Have you ever considered putting an empty pallet, pallets, under the hay bales in the feeders. This would eliminate moisture coming in contact with the bale and elevate it as well so the horses would consume more before replenishing. This might also work in the new hay barn to reduce hay in contact with the ground.
You came in the Maritime at just the right time, fall is the best ,and this year we have warm weather so nice. In the summer its to hot for my taste....We are not that far from where you live ,but this week in N-B, (in the north) the leaves are almost all gone ,but still very warm. Love your videos.
Nova Scotia! What a great place. Beautiful and rugged and lots of water. Did you happen to get to Peggy’s Cove? Special place. Congrats on getting away. Mind and body needed a break.
Welcome back home from your Vacation Joel. YAY Gavin for President! In the house ...or Stable. I'm waiting to see how the drainage for the Barn ends? Where does it all go? Security breach when you knocked Gavin over! C'mon guys! Sheeesh.
Since us real mechanics told you a long time ago that it wasn't the starter, are you ready to listen to real troubleshooting tips? You need to troubleshoot the start circuit. Possibilities are battery, neutral safety switch, fuse, and solenoid. I can't see if the solenoid is built into the starter which would eliminate that. Load test the battery. Standing full voltage is 12.74 Volts. Turning the key, the voltage should only drop one volt. If your voltage drops below 9.6 volts, the battery failed. There is a fuse in the start circuit. It may be a flat one in the box, or it may be a round inline fuse. Bypass the neutral safety switch or use a meter to check continuity. The easiest thing to do is bypass everything by connecting a jumper cable from the positive battery post directly to the positive lug of the starter. That eliminates pull starting and tells you if the battery is good.
I'll add that the key switch is also a possibility. If this problem started right after pressure washing it, you most likely induced the problem with water. That's why I always tell you to not store the tractor outside. Water is a killer on electrical systems. Even if the water is gone, there could be a blown fuse or corrosion on the connections.
Oh. I just remembered going through a similar event with my former 35hp tractor about 10 years. the starter would not engage due to the clutch sensor going bad as the clutch needs to be fully depressed for the starter to engage. Have you checked the clutch sensor?
We love you and Gavin. Thank you for the update on mom.
I cackled at "I saw your flannel bounce"
Thank you for sharing a bit of your vacation. Really beautiful
Joel, you cleaned up nice in that suit!

That tiny donkey is mental.
Waving a hand from texas
😊
I can’t believe you were in my hometown. I walk Halifax boardwalk multiple times a day. Wish I would have seen you, did you try a HalifaxDonair?
What a wonderful life full of beautiful family and friends 💚
I thought there was a dominant donkey change. I could have swore the other one used to be the one to steal food.

Where did you go in Nova Scotia? I'm from Musquodoboit Harbour (close to Halifax)
I still think your new lights are causing your problems. Unhook them and try it then. You never know
What happened to your mom’s leg? I watch every single episode and I don’t remember seeing anything about your mom hurting her leg. I pray she’s OK.
What happen to question and answers?
Timeline would be helpful,,, you were building, kind of a barn.
Oh. I just remembered going through a similar event with my former 35hp tractor about 10 years. the starter would not engage due to the clutch sensor going bad as the clutch needs to be fully depressed for the starter to engage. Have you checked the clutch sensor?
I just bypassed it with a jumper wire and until now forgot lol
Hey Joel What port did you leave from?
What company did you travel with? recommend them?
It is 93 degrees in Oklahoma, where I live.
Joel if you spent all that money to go on vacation you can surely spend the money and take the tractor in to be fixed by a mechanic
Why wasn’t Gavin there?..I saw that his future fiancee was….hmmm
Back off matchmaker
At 37 seconds you have a creature running across the barn floor between the manure buckets to the last stall
