Here's my problem here. This profile of him in this video actually makes me want to watch the movie even less, because it's clear just off the commercials that he's been dumbed down, which also means he won't be as lethal. His voice is played by Stallone in the movie by the way. A character that appears to have depth will be nothing more than a prop in that upcoming movie while sounding dumb. This review of his character alone will probably be better than their usage of his character in the movie.

They are using the post crisis design of king, but using the new 52 character of suicide squad, which the manbaby character doesn't even last long. I can see why it's a problem to get into comics after watching the movies. They pick and choose characteristics and design for all versions of the character. People are going to be expecting manbaby King Shark, but get brutal demigod King Shark. It's even more confusing when the comics changes the character, because of the movie.
I went to Kindle after 72 seconds of this video out of curiosity about your new comic, "Astonishing Times". I'll be honest with you, I wasn't really expecting much from it. I was wrong though and it is an intriguing first issue of what I hope will be a long run. It isn't perfect by any means but what is? It is close enough that I plan to make it a regular purchase, and I honestly can't remember the last time that happened with a new comic where I wasn't already familiar with the characters and world. The characters, well, the main character feels surprisingly real and relatable given the small number of pages he's been on so far and I already find myself rooting for him.
