Oscar has a career with questionable wins like Whitaker, Sturm, Quartey, and close losses like Mosely and Trinidad. But when one looks at his entire record and compare it with others in the HOF he stacks up pretty well in the timeframe of when he fought. Every great fighter has questionable wins , horrible losses, and not honoring a rematch clause. He made his style work for him even at times it was a bit robotic. Hopkins dropped him with a liver shot, And Pacman made him look like a pinata. That is what the Boxing Gods expect. Nobody should be bigger than the sport. But in the end inside the heart of that kid his chin was as tough as he was . People like Shakur career will not come close to what Oscar accomplished.
Man! this man fought EVERYONE and did it to the best of his very capable ability. Win or loss they honestly don't make them like Oscar anymore. Still managed to keep his million dollar looks (after all those wars) and business savvy and is still as instrumental in the world of Boxing as he was as a fighter. This is a GOAT among GOATs.
Realistically though he gave Tito a boxing lesson & beat Mosley the 2nd time, the sturm fight was obviously a robbery & I always thought Ike gave Oscar his first L, even with those 2 KDs.

@@Bankai_Musashi1 A few of Whitaker's fights are like that, due to him sometimes clowning around and not throwing anything. If he'd stayed switched on throughout he probably wins 9 or 10 rounds against DLH, who had no idea what to do with him

This video proved to me without a shadow of a doubt that Oscar is one of the most over-rated, over-hyped boxers of all time. His record proves that the only names he did beat were either over the hill or careless fighters. Without a doubt he LOST to Pernell Whitaker AND Ike Quartey. Yeah he was the "Golden Boy" alright, with the judges. Above average at best.
