i agree cause then you could plug it into a portable charger mid concert if it died instead of trying to change batteries. i know day6 lightband is chargeable too, not batteries

ateez's company actually held a fan contest back in august to choose a design for the official lightstick, so that should be happening soon 👀

i only brought monsta x's version 1 to their concert and then i saw the version 2 and i had no intention of buying it but i highkey was like fuck it, i want it and i had a blast using it in concert cuz it is soooo bright - yeah i was that weirdo waving two lightsticks haha, i love them both now , not sure which one i prefer!!!

I finally got one myself, it was shipped yesterday! I don't have a lot of hope of seeing SNSD live ever again lol (except as soloists) but at least it will look pretty on my shelf 🤷♀️ also they're my ults so why not!

I only own an Army Bomb version 3 and I really hope I'll be able to use it! I'll probably go next year if they come to europe, as it'll probably be my last chance of seeing them as 7 (seokjin should enlist next year). I'd like to buy a lightstick for all my ultimates (Twice, Izone and X1, if that ever comes out lol)
you have a nice collection of lightsticks!!! i want the newest one from monsta x but they haven't come to canada at all :( . i just looked at my shelf and i have 4 lightsticks! ( bts, vixx, nuest and red velvet) luckily i got to use 2 out of 4 at a concert! i wish more companies would do chargers instead of batteries cuz batteries aren't cheap to get.
I WISH more lightsticks had the ability to charge instead of having to use batteries. I don't like having to use batteries cuz I'm always worried that they may ruin the lightsticks by like suddenly exploding or something. Also in Blackpink's they have the way you put in batteries be so difficult I'm scared of them just getting stuck in there and me never being able to get them out 😔
And good luck with getting another Suju lightstick. I'm sorry that the one you originally got doesn't work 😢

That is SO sad that the new SuJu lightstick isnt working, it looks really cool. I don't have any lightsticks but I plan to get one of my ult's (BtoB) and maybe a couple others? The downside of liking smaller/nugu group, a lot of them dont have lightsticks. Good for my wallet, bad for myself lol

All the lightstick I have are the temporary versions like before the official ones were released by groups :(
Would u recommend buying the light stick before a concert or before. I’m going to the SuperM concert soon and idk if I should get it beforehand or just get it there, but I know that there’s also a bag limit and I want to keep the box. Same with NCT if they have a concert and I go.
Next time I go to a kpop concert, if I get GA standing or VIP standing etc I wont bring a lightstick. Its a lot of things to carry with you: the lightstick, your phone and a camera to record, water bottles, food, a fan to keep your body temperature down... and so much more things. Last time I didnt find it very practical, personay. When youre sitting down, you can use your chair to put your stuff there, but when youre standing you really cant, and in europe the bags they let you bring in for the concerts are very small and you can barely fit anything there xD
I only have two lightsticks (blackpink and Monsta X, my ultimate groups but Mx is my favorite) and I have never been to a concert😭 but I really want to go to one!

i bought monsta x lightstick when i went to see them this past year in la, exo's ver 3 lightstick which i used superm in nyc as an excuse to get because who knows when they'll be back in the us for a tour of their own and i also got superm's lightstick the day of the concert, and i want to get seventeen's, wayv's for when i see superm in san jose because it's my excuse to get that one and i want stray kids'

i only have SF9's official lightstick (the jigubong) and the little unofficial-official lightstick SF9 had before that. if you would have told me when i bought that lightstick that i'd actually use it one day, i literally would have laughed. having it at kcon with me honestly made the whole experience so much more fun ♡

I love having lightsticks cause it's not only fun but I feel like it's fun for the artist? like, it makes it so clear where the fans are. Funny story: I went to Oneus' concert in Atlanta, and of course they don't have a lightstick, so I brought my B1A4 lightstick...I was glad to have it, but poor ol' Bbyeongie was SO GREEN, bless her, I saw some fancams and I Was like "well shit that's where she is" cause most people had generic sticks that were white. Is it just me that is not huge on the color-changing/bluetooth of the new lightsticks? Like, I get that there's only so many colors one can have so it's not as much focus on colors these days (but still catch me trying not to be bitter when a B1A4 member is on a the same show as an NCT member and I caN'T TELL WHOSE FANS ARE I NTHE AUDIENCE CAUSE THEIR GREEN IS TOO CLOSE TO OUR GREEN) but I feel like they should at least give it the good ol' college try. Along with B1A4's stick ver 1&2 (both BRIGHTLY pastel apple lime) I have Astro's stick which is a nice bright purple, VIXX's GORGEOUS lady (both ver), and Oh My Girl's pastel beauty Deer My Bong.
I have a couple of fake bts lightsticks (one from wish when I was new to kpop and naïve and think 2 others because I got scammed yay) but then I have their real v2 & v3 (v3 is my favourite thing ever it's been with me to both concerts so far) and VIXX v2 because we don't want to poke anyone's eyes out with it. I still want to get Stray Kids, BAP and Apink's lightsticks (I almost got apink's when I went to Japan but there's no way it would fit in my suitcase)
I have exo version 2 and caratbong version 2 and am planning on buy exo's version 3 as well! they are really pretty!

I bought the Nu’est lightstick knowing that PLEDIS will never give them a world tour 🤧. I really enjoyed this video, lowkey helped me feel less insane to buy lightsticks when I haven’t (yet) seen them live but we can all hope that one day these dreams will come true
you haven’t put the strap on the infinite ver 2 lightstick because it’s literally a pain!!! i’ve been trying to get the strap on for months now!
I like having a lightstick in my hand for concerts (or some kind of object like a fan) so I collect lightsticks for groups in order to use them for concerts I attended. I have GOT7's ver 1, VIXX's ver 2, BTOB's ver 2, Bigbang's ver 4, Wanna One and NCT. I also buy them if I've seen them in concert even if I didn't have the lightstick then necessarily (just in case they come back) so I have Astro's, Seventeen's ver 1, SHINee's Japan 2018 fanlight (trying to sell this to get the Korean one though). The only ones I don't have according to this rule are B.A.P (because it's impossible to find without settling for a fake one) and BTS (I got scammed). I also have MX's version 1 because I was so sure they were coming to Canada but they haven't so I have yet to use it :( I also want Suju's lightstick since they're my ult group but I'd probably never use it T_T
the only lightstick i own is the nablebong! the first and last time to ever use was when seeing wanna one in atlanta 🥺

both Monsta X lightsticks have bluetooth but you know how they don't use it outside of Korea and Japan and also ver 2 you can get a power bank
Your collection is great! :D I would buy lightsticks if it weren't for the fact that I'm from Colombia and I live here, and none kpop band has ever come here and I seriously doubt that any will come in the near future, also, my budget doesn't allow me to really have that kind expense, so... Yeah, someday I guess, hopefully... Haha.

I would die to see Ateez, Monsta X, SHINee and SuperM but it likely won't ever happen because nobody comes closer to my state than LA and my parents (even tho I'm 18) won't let me go because they say I'm too young and LA is too dangerous and too far 😭 but that's ok, maybe eventually I'll be able to, I just hope that I get the chance to. If not, it's okay, I'll just buy their lightsticks, buy their convert videos and watch them on my TV while pretending I'm at a concert lol

What happened to your suju Lightstick is that it was possibly dropped in transit and it knocked the wiring within it. Same happened to my BP Lightstick but I got a new one since I saw them in concert.
I have every intention of taking my SHINee lightstick and buying the SuperM one for the concert next year 😂 (I'm still lowkey mad they call the SHINee lightstick the shatting star like wtf 😂😂😭) I also have the EXO lightstick but dont have enough hands to bring that one too

I know bluetooth can have the lightsticks turn any color and I know the bright white light would be better for concerts but idk, I think it's boring when these new lightsticks only come with a white light normally :(( like pls include one setting with the group's colors at least if possible! At least the designs are still pretty (but I kinda like Monsta X and Svt's version 1 lightsticks way more). Also lowkey think both of Infinite's lightsticks are gorgeous

I'm so stuck on which light stick to get. I'm going to see SuperM in Feb, and I missed out on presales for SuperM's lightstick. I lowkey wanna get WayV's, and NCT's but also, I really really want SuperM's. Their lightstick is just super pretty. I also wanna get EXO's as well?? Actually...I wanna get my hands on all SM's lightsticks, especially TVXQ's ;; cuz they are my ult group, even though I've been so focused on ATEEZ, SuperM, NCT, and several other groups. (I also really wanna get B.A.P's lightstick, just for collection purposes.) Fun fact, TVXQ was the group that got me into KPop XD I can't wait for ATEEZ's lightstick, and also...I hope to see them one day in concert ;;

I would try online (ktown4u, kpopmart, kpoptown) because often times lightsticks sell out quickly at venues

Hi I recently got the version 2 SJ lightstick and at first I thought it was not working too. But it turns out u just need to press long enough, like more than 3 to 5 seconds. Hope this can help u!!

Does anyone know if there is a difference between Carat bong version 1 and version 2? And is it okay to use version 1 in their concert?
The only difference is the design and theres an app for Ver 2 for your phone that you can use to change the color of the lightstick. Both are acceptable to use at the concert and when I went a couple of days ago people were using both!
