I always thought that superheroes must have incredible focus… can you even imagine eye lasers with normal saccades and eye drift?!
Saccades are the normal thing your eyes do, you can’t control it. Try to slowly and smoothly pan your vision across your room.. you can’t, it’s impossible. Your eyes jump and stop, jump and stop… they jump from point of interest to the next, we’re actually functionally blind while our eyes are moving, so our eyes just jump and pause so we have a stable image to work with. It’s why it’s so dangerous to be distracted while driving because if your eyes keep looking up and down from the road, you’re basically driving blind for big chunks and anything can happen in those blind spots.
So imagine Superman trying to laser something and the lasers just jump around all twitchy, and then something moves and he reflexively looks at it! lol chaos!

It's fast because these tutorials aren't for beginners, nor are the effects, themselves. If you find yourself getting a bit confused, you might want to watch another channel for the time being-so that you can learn the basics and eventually, become advanced enough to understand these tutorials.

Amazing, as usual. And I have a question: can I edit this effect smoothly on Macbook M1 Pro, 32GB Ram, 10CPU-16GPU ? I'm planning to get that one. Actually my PC is pretty good but after 1 year, I realized what I really want is work with my friends and bring my laptop everywhere, so with my PC it stuck at home, so many times it is very inconvenience. Thanks and hope you answer.
My work is mainly on Premiere Pro, edit 4K videos shoot from iPhone and Blackmagic pocket 4k. So when using After Effects, I just do some tracking, transitions and simple animation and VFX. Not crazy heavy amount of layers of 6K or 8K raw at the same time or something like that.
