Adam, I love going on road trips, I remember as a child my parents would take us on vacation and I remember sleeping in the car in the back window. Those were the days. To this day I still love going on road trips. I love your vlogs.
the little cage the calf was in is called a catch pen. it's used to hold the animals in place when getting vaccines and other things that is needed to hold them to prevent injury to human or the animal. I live on a cattle farm so I see it every day.
Thank you Adam. I watch your vlogs every morning. A great way to start the day. I used to watch the depressing morning news, and now I watch you because you are much more positive and interesting. Plus your morning energy is contagious! :)
I can hear Stand By Me right now!!! You find the neatest places, the museums were really neat.I love them! Got my WOO FIX for the day!!!! Thanks Adam, stay safe!!!
Seeing you walking down that train track reminded me of one of my favorite movies: Stand By Me. Just don't get stuck on a bridge if you don't know the train schedule!
I hope you're going to Savannah to one of my favorite filming locations in the city... my father recognized it when he was watching this movie because he went to school as a kid right around the corner from where they placed the bench Tom Hanks sat on. Lots of great history in that city.
Happily freaking out bc I know today's drive very well! And at the very end, you drove by my parent's home in Waycross!!! So excited!!!!!!! Gah! I wish I was down there today, dangit.
That abandoned rail line was pretty cool, although I will say it wasn't the smartest thing to assume it was abandoned. Lots of rail lines are in bad condition but still in use. The one you were on was definitely abandoned, but just be a little more careful next time.
Loved the shout out to Julio! 🐓 Great vlog Adam. The old school house made me think of Michael Landon and Little House on the Prairie. See you tomorrow 🤓😀
man i cannot express my self how much i love these small town videos ! its like , not even the Americans know about those places ,and god bless those old ppl that showed u around , i got the sad feeling that those old houses will be eaten by nature when those ppl pass away ,its like they`re keeping each other alive , u can tell how excited they were to show you/us around
This was a wonderful vlog, Adam! The smaller towns, beautiful animals, fascinating museums and unique roadside oddities - I love these things. Thank you so much for all your hard work in bringing this content to your TH-cam family! Warm Regards!
My family owned a Ford camper special with the camper. My Dad would take us on summer road trips and we would camp at whichever lake we were around. I remember very fondly that clacking noise from the older highways. The best noise in the world to me, it put me to sleep countless times.
Adam, loved your videos of my old home state of AL. Bo Jackson's Bessemer is right next to where I grew up - Hueytown. He's one of the reasons I went to Auburn. Keep up the great work buddy.
Adam is such a big kid, who is wide-eyed about almost everything and enjoys everything he sees also. It is such a blessing for me and always gives me a laugh and relieves my stress, at least for a while. :-)
Possum Poke is a historic hunting retreat outside Poulan, Georgia, United States, and for years was the winter home of Chase Osborn, a former governor of Michigan, author and adventurer. It was a hunting camp
born and raised in Dallas. We seen a lot of tornadoes. One twister came down about 2 blocks from our home for about 2-6 seconds in a shopping mall I was about 11 or 12 I learned respect for Twister's fast. Been in the South last 25 years and I seem to not be able to get away from them " Twister's " as weather patters have changed. Wow you're still making several cities and towns daily. God bless you Chief Jones
I love a good road trip, and have done a few from Ontario to Nova Scotia, in Canada, and also down to WDW, but the best one was from Vail, Colorado to the Grand Canyon. Did that one with my Grandma, and my younger sister. Lots of amazing things to see. Keep safe, Adam.
Adam you are so right about hitting the open road and seeing things that people don't normally get to see. Thanks for taking us with you every day. Your volgs are great and I enjoy following you.
It is on my bucket list to take a road trip all down through the southern states. I`m from Canada and I think it would be so interesting and fun to see all the small towns and meet peolple, and try different foods. Adam is basically on that road trip for me!!!
The large white bags can be any sort of dry bulk item like grain, sand, lime, grass seed, top soil, nuts, seeds etc. The bags allow for use of forks or over head lifting.
The bags on the flatbed are used for grass clippings. They are usually dropped at a house a week or more where home owners fill it to the top with grass clippings and tree clippings. The owner of the bags comes back with the truck to collect the full bags and take them too the dump. A. xoxox
The tornado footage just tears at your heart strings that many people have no place safe to go.I was in a tornado at age 8 in 1966 in Indiana. We were in a small mobile home and that thing was rocking back and forth....wow...scary as hell.Hey Adam.....now show the people the Georgia Guide Stones....many people still don't know
meant to tell you the other day, but one of your older vlogs, with Justin, automatically began playing after your current day video had finished & when I walked back in the room, both my cats were right up close in front of the computer monitor, watching intently the two of you "talking it up". They were really paying close attention.
Did some research on coal mining in Sylvester Georgia and there is some mining in the area. In Ky. those bags are used to contain rockdust used to coat the coal ribs to prevent a mine explosion.
Adam, do you ever feel like you were born in the wrong decade? Love the old haunts you share. I know I would have loved to experienced life back then. Safe Travels. x
Can't wait until the weather warms up. Hopefully you'll make your way back to Kentucky soon. Keep up all the great work & most importantly Keep On Wooin!!!! Take care & have a wonderful day.
my guess on that truck with the big white fabric bags on the back is that it was hauling waste abrasive. it's the byproduct of cutting metal using a water jet machine. it's basically just mud made of whatever abrasive material is aged to the jet stream of water to aid in cutting, usually a natural abrasive likea sand or ground stone. It can be disposed of safely anywhere as long as the material getting cut wasn't something hazardous like lead. so it was basically a bunch of big sacks of mud.
i used to work in agriculture and that strange cow device you saw is called a cattle crusher. it is used for checkups or to administer first aid/ treatment. some expensive versions even weigh the cow. full size versions cost around $14.414 not cheap at all.
Those were probably sand or washed gravel. They put them in those giant bags so they can be off loaded by heavy equipment.I used to haul these driving a flatbed truck.
You silly man, LOL! I love just packing a lunch and getting in the van and driving. We moved from the Miami area to Charlotte, NC about 20 years ago. The terrain sure changed. From FLAT down in Florida to rolling hills here. Take Care.
Always enjoy your views on places I haven't been yet, but really enjoy your views of stuff I know. A fresh perspective is always fun. I'll be heading south in a few days, in roughly the same area, so if you see a sidecar blow by, probably me...wave.
I have just started watching the Daily woo and I must say I have been woo(ed) I find myself watching the vlogs through out the day and laughing my butt off. Thanks Adam the Woo
The white bags are full of cotton. The pillar things on the side of the road used to be the front of a gas station/souvenir shop. It went away because someone in the family decided not to carry on with the family business.
Dwight Eisenhower was born in Denison tx I believe . hopefully you can make it there someday . cool house . nearby town of Sherman is my favorite to visit . thanks for the vlogs .
Wow!!!! I love this vlog! I love in Poulan, Ga. You missed the best parts and history. It used to have a cotton mill a hotel, a bank ( both of which still are standing today.) Possum Poke is the winter home of former Michigan Governor Chase Osborne. Very interesting story. I just started watching TH-cam and I am so enjoying your vlogs. The tornado damage you showed killed several people and devastated all the surrounding counties.
Those are big bags of grain on the back of the flatbed. He probably owns a cattle farm and went down to the local grain silo fill those up and is going back to feed the cows
Looks like the flatbed was hauling those huge bags of lime waste treatment plants use. Not a close enough look to see for sure. Luv it when you find folks that give you history and such like that Lady was doing.
I hope Adam makes trip to Wildwood NJ once sooner gets here. It's the unknown birthplace of Rock and Roll and used to be called the Vagas of the East, long before Atlantic City became what it is. I'll have to try posting this on more videos in the future to make sure Adam sees it. It'd make my summer if I could show him around. I've gone there every summer for 39 years and I'm counting down to the 40'th It's really a place that someone like Adam just has to visit.
I'm not sure bit I think those fields that are covered with the black sheet looking stuff is to prevent erosion. A lot of farms will alternate planting their crops so they don't deplete the nutrients in the soil. Some farms will plant alfalfa or other short rooted but nutrient rich plants in the 'off season' to help prevent erosion and help 'recharge' the soil and I believe that is one alternative they will use. Anyone else know a bit more about that?
Possum Poke is a historic hunting retreat outside Poulan, Georgia, United States, and for years was the winter home of Chase Osborn, a former governor of Michigan

Did anything interesting and/or hilarious and/or dangerous possibly happen to said guy? 😂

Jeffrey Murrell , I believe I know this gentleman. Is this the same fella who attempted to cut his own hair in one of his vlogs? Lol
Hahahaha, I know he got hurt, but I laugh every time I watch it.
Stripper Plate Kid hahaha
Creed T take the wheel
TheDailyWoo You let him drive?! He might just drive off without you!
TheDailyWoo dude, my mom just said one, "Adam the Woo" just asked her permission to film this adventure. It's tough realizing your hero lives a lie!
TheDailyWoo freedom is the feeling, thanks Adam for these vlogs watching you for 3 years stops my itchy feet.
What's with the extra voice at the end?
Creed-T is a terrible driver. He wasn't even watching the road. LOL.
Thank you Adam. I watch your vlogs every morning. A great way to start the day. I used to watch the depressing morning news, and now I watch you because you are much more positive and interesting. Plus your morning energy is contagious! :)

The old buildings u were at, it reminded me of Back to the future. "They found me."
Loved the tour of the old town buildings. Amazing! Thanks Adam. Safe journey.

Am I the only one who looks up the towns Adam visits on a map to see where he is?
I do that, too!
I have an Atlas that I use to look up Adam's adventures. I love seeing the small towns.
Stephanie Cerce I do!!!!
Yes! Sometimes I also try to predict where he'll go next. It's a Woonderful game :)
Stephanie Cerce nope he was in my home town n didn't get to meet hin
The large white bags can be any sort of dry bulk item like grain, sand, lime, grass seed, top soil, nuts, seeds etc. The bags allow for use of forks or over head lifting.
Thanks for the video. I love the areas that you explore and document
There's nothing like waking up with Adam the Woo and a Pop Tart.
Big bags of bulk rocks, sand, etc. they have handels for fork lift to load and unload
The bags on the flatbed are used for grass clippings. They are usually dropped at a house a week or more where home owners fill it to the top with grass clippings and tree clippings. The owner of the bags comes back with the truck to collect the full bags and take them too the dump. A. xoxox

so it was basically a bunch of big sacks of mud.
That museum looked awesome. sometimes i long for the simpeler times. Great video!
I loved your stand by me moment A hog is a pig over 100 pounds
The main reason for the creation of the Interstate Highway system was to mobilize our troops in case of a national emergency.

4:40, seed bags and-or peanuts. Where I'm from these are full of peanuts
that was rows of plastic over the field. it helps some plants stimulate root growth.
Thanks for showing us the road and these great towns of nostalgia! 🙂
Looks like adam made it to my hometown of waycross GA. He was entering the outskirts of it at the end of the vlog. Excited for tomorrow's vlog.
I have just started watching the Daily woo and I must say I have been woo(ed) I find myself watching the vlogs through out the day and laughing my butt off. Thanks Adam the Woo
Great vlog! Thank you Adam.
The white bags are full of cotton. The pillar things on the side of the road used to be the front of a gas station/souvenir shop. It went away because someone in the family decided not to carry on with the family business.
I used to haul bulk starch to paper mills. Those were the same bags we used.
I wanted to move there, but the town was such an enigma, haha. Looks like you have had beautiful traveling days lately.
I think they are growing strawberries there, kind Sir. Have your best day yet, everybody! :-D
I love watching all your video's.
generally those big white bags are grains or hops or flower, salt, sugar, sand, etc.
be careful. you may become Adam the Moo
Kenneth Nash 😂
I always wonder if he got a tick walking through all that brush, meadows, etc.

Just thought to myself, watching your videos, with your sense of wonder and adventure - you'll be a great dad one day, Adam.
Those are big bags of grain on the back of the flatbed. He probably owns a cattle farm and went down to the local grain silo fill those up and is going back to feed the cows
LOVE the reference to Julio! Justin would be Proud!

you can tell if a train track is still in use if the tops of the rails are shiny

What am I supposed to do, think of everything? I brought the comb!
Nicky Williams nice Stand By Me reference :)
Mrs. Sunshine ya when he was walking on those tracks my mind went right to the movie Stand By Me...R.I.P River Phoenix
Always nice to see someone who shares my affinity for a great classic of a movie! I was 12 going on 13 the first time I saw a dead human being.....
Another great video !
the rail road tracks remind me the stand by me movie !!
At 4:44 in the white bag's would most likely be feed or grain. Could also be bulk seed or pot ash.
Great vlog!
keep up the good work , i enjoy it be good be safe. god God bless you i will be praying for you as you travels.. !!
Truck hauling = bulk gravel or mulch in sacks. Very handy in cities where they don't want you dumping materials in the street
