    With how well they keep their value you could probably buy one of these at msrp and trade into a 2023 for only a few thousand. I’ve had a 2016, 2019, and a 2022 Tacoma and I’ve only paid around $38,500 to own all three over the last 6 or so years. If I where to have outright bought my 2022 it would cost me $41,000. I paid $35,000 for the 2016 and traded it in on the 2019 and there was a $3,000 difference then I traded the 2019 for a 2022 and it was a $550 difference

      @@monchichi955 I think the market is about to face plant honestly. Seems like used car prices are about to go back to normal or at least more normal. I’d say if you want to get into a 2023 try negotiating something right now with your dealerships. That would give you the best results I think. I know when I put the deposit down on my 2022 the dealership gave me a trade in quote on paper saying they’d honor it even thought the 2022 was a couple months out. Maybe try to go for a 2023 and try to get something like that while you can.

    My new 2022 will arrive in about a month. I decided to buy one now as this is the most developed Tacoma to date and I wanted a manual transmission Access Cab. The platform is not perfect but well proven and I am afraid both manual transmision and Access Cabs may be going away. My current 2008 regular cab has been flawless, I bought this new also, and the regular cab was discontinued in 2015. Options will continue to dissapear until production volume increases.

I doubt the NA V6 will be in anything getting a redesign, prob will get a 4 cylinder turbo as base engine and an optional hybrid. My godfather works for corporate Toyota in Plano, he’s seen models proposed up to 2025 Tacoma, basically the headlights will have a “tear drop” expansion and a slightly more “Aggresive look” it’s not 100% certain but body frame wise their won’t be any major differences from 2021-2022 slightly but front Aggresive look. Interior wise they really keep that on the downlow and engine he said don’t be surprised if the stock base model is slightly weaker for fuel economy purposes lol. Which is scary because the base model runs at around 159hp with what 185lb ft of torque?

    • @lolotus4borderless
      @lolotus4borderless 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johnappleseed9290 just saw your comment, as i see here in Asia car production is impaired by availability and raising costs, the production tendency is leaning toward going simple and analog hence the new Honda pilot, analog and nothing revolutionary at all. I am truly expecting no big breakthrough for the new Tacoma to keep this véhicule has a large profit margin for Toyota and keep it Dead simple.
      I think the real revolution will be with electric pick ups down the road, meaning you can enjoy your ice Taco for the next 5 years to come without feeling driving total obsolescence.

    Hi - just curious about driver legroom. I'm about 5'10" but have had multiple knee surgeries, so if my leg is bent at a 90 degree angle for an extended period of time, it can cause some serious pain. I look for vehicles with a ton of driver legroom, to the point where my leg can almost be completely straight. In your test drive, did you have the driver seat fully slid back, how much legroom did you have? Thanks!
