I love how the beginning of the song is telling the children of the House of the Hearth why and how she became their Father, and most of the rest of the song is her trying to prepare them to live without her. And then the end of the song is the end of her battle with Mother and the consequences she faced due to killing her. And throughout the song, the visuals switch between the events leading to her becoming Father and her testing her children. And yes, I'm calling them her children. She cares for them, and does a heck of a lot better job than Mother did. This song is perfect for her, and your vocals are great for it. Half the time, I have difficulty distinguishing between the background vocals and the violin. I don't usually comment entire paragraphs on videos, so this just goes to show how much I absolutely love this song. Thank you, Hala.
Where to even start? The main vocals are incredible. The background vocals had me absolutely blown away and it's overall a very enjoyable song. This song is amazing, certainly a well written and beautifully composed unique tribute to Arlecchino.. Though I must admit, I am surprised that the word "hearth" was not used at all in this song. I half expected one of the choral refrains to change the line "my flames are dying down" to something akin or resembling "The hearth is embers now" to reference both Arlecchino's literal burning of the old house and its master and the small and dwindling comfort or numbers of her own House of Hearth.. Still, that is only my own thoughts and instinct to hear from something attributed to Arlecchino. Wonderfully written and executed song! Be proud.
Hala, YOU ABSOLUTELY COOKED AND SAUTEED THIS. The high vocals were absolutely peak, and the lyrics themselves were on point in referencing Arlecchino's storyline. Not to mention the music had its own rush and calm parts complimenting each other. Trust me, "Father" would be amazed if she heard this.

This song is amazing, certainly a well written and beautifully composed unique tribute to Arlecchino..
Though I must admit, I am surprised that the word "hearth" was not used at all in this song. I half expected one of the choral refrains to change the line "my flames are dying down" to something akin or resembling "The hearth is embers now" to reference both Arlecchino's literal burning of the old house and its master and the small and dwindling comfort or numbers of her own House of Hearth..
Still, that is only my own thoughts and instinct to hear from something attributed to Arlecchino. Wonderfully written and executed song! Be proud.

Hala, YOU ABSOLUTELY COOKED AND SAUTEED THIS. The high vocals were absolutely peak, and the lyrics themselves were on point in referencing Arlecchino's storyline. Not to mention the music had its own rush and calm parts complimenting each other.
