I bowl backup because of an injury. I know its not ideal, but I cannot handle throwing any other ways, my wrist cannot handle it. Any tips (specifically for ball selection) for those of us that choose to throw backup, or have to?

I just started bowling last August with a buddy of mine. Im still learning, im averaging around 150's right now. But its nice to have a hobby after graduating college last may. Love the vids, its nice to have some high quality bowling content :)

I use a 12 rhino fitted to my hands and I just strained my wrist trying to throw the same formation as you are throwing here in this video but I also heard it's the correct way to throw so I'm alittle lost? 😭 I bowl 180s with a house ball not fitted and yet with a supposedly better ball I'm hardly breaking 110
I always laugh when Darren is like "Oh no that's a bad shot" and then it's actually a perfect strike. One day I will get my first 200 game in regular bowling, I already have a few in 9-pin no-tap.

I bowl with an ex PBA professional champion at a small house in a tiny town. It's funny how if you look back at his matches 25 years ago, his swing hasn't changed much. The point is, learn a pre-throw routine, a good one and it'll stick.
