This really is one of the most realistic depictions of a live performance on a TV show. The balance of voices aren't perfectly equal - some harmonies sound a bit louder than others. It's great!
I think what I love the most is you can see Bebe’s dance background when she’s singing. The other two are swaying slightly but she can’t seem to help throwing in a little extra. 😁
As soon as they said she had to sing, i was like you have 3 Broadway actors on your staff, why aren't they singing!! Of course I jumped the gun... It was a fun ending :D
+Johanna Magdalena: Bebe Neuwirth is a veteran actress in films and television and also on Broadway, where she has won two Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical for "Chicago" in 1986 and 1997. Patina Miller was in the film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1&2, was in Broadway's "Sister Act" (2011-12) and won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for "Pippin" (2013). Erich Bergen played the part of Bob Gaudio, both on Broadway and on the film "Jersey Boys."
HAhahah! When I first saw the pilot and Pattina, Bene and Erich came onscreen, I thought, thought THEY HAVE GOT TO DO A MUSICAL NUMBER. So happy it finally happened!
one of favourite scenes in the series. coz even i was surprised. i keep warming up to patina miller and erich coz of their comic relief hope they get better. those vocal controls are mad

The best rendition of the song and depiction of reality.. Perfection doesn't require to be perfect. It's the harmony of what message you want to convey..
0:52 The second Nadine said this, I thought, “Of course! Who else would be singing but Tony winner Bebe Neuwirth?” Erich and Patina were a pleasant surprise because I did not know they were Broadway performers!
The funniest scene in this shows history is the beginning of this episode, when the scene shifts from the guy in China throwing up to Geoffrey arend fucking going straight into this parody and his singing quips he does with it I was on the fuckin floor they should upload that scene
When theater kids infiltrate the government.
Shhhh! You'll blow our cover!
What do you mean when?? Politics is already all an act!

Bebe being extra
Her dancing shoulders make it!

Yep. All very talented.

I have had this stuck in my head for FIVE DAYS.
Bebe Neuwirth is the most gorgeous woman alive... and her voice is stunning
Bebe doing the Fosse shoulder moves
And Patina did the 2013 Pippin revival so they've both got that pedigree.
@@JAHinHK yes absolutely :)
I thought that Daisy (Patina) was pretty cool from the beginning, but when she sang that song, it nearly blew my mind!
Only came across this video yesterday. Absolute magic - but then, I'm biased. Anything Bebe does is wonderful!
BLAKE NEEDS TO SING MORE HIS VOICE IS SO GREAT I LOVE HIM SO MUCH
Erich Bergen actually played Bob Gaudio in the Vegas company of Jersey Boys as well as the same role in the 2014 movie! :)
You're Just Too Good To Be True, as sung live by Erich at a caberet:

Erich Bergen - Running Through the Night ------ HIS LATEST SINGLE!
He ended up singing a bunch in the last two seasons are so! I think your comment helped manifest that reality haha.
Eric sang Can't take my eyes off you which was very good!
Love this and these Broadway performers--Patina and Bebe both Tony Award winners. YUP!
And Erich was in Jersey boys
Still one of my favorite moments in television history.
I have fallen in love with this show...

Thank you! Love this song even today!
Patina Miller and Erich Bergen's voices fit so well together :)
portialuvbrutus I love their duo of Ain’t no mountain high enough
One of the best scenes from M S! Loved it and watched it over and over!
The best rendition of the song and depiction of reality.. Perfection doesn't require to be perfect. It's the harmony of what message you want to convey..
Just love this whole scene.
We’ll be your most favored nation! Love it!! Clever writing! And the vocal talent is wowzers!
They all sang beautifully. But Blake is so adorable. I swear I could take him and just squeeze him!!!!
2:34-2:38 the secret service dancing I cried🤣😂🤣😂
Vee Core I totally missed that part. How did you spot that?
I never would’ve caught that 😂
2:34 never noticed the secret service guys dancing either side 😅
I wish someone would also upload that one scene from 2x12 where Blake sings Fire & Rain at karaoke. Great moment, especially with Nadine there.
Yaaa..
That's one of my most favorite, and hearttouching scene...
I love and can't stop smiling.
i laughed so hard at this
It is season 2 episode 1 the show must go on for anyone who was wondering
Some good vocals here.
0:52 The second Nadine said this, I thought, “Of course! Who else would be singing but Tony winner Bebe Neuwirth?” Erich and Patina were a pleasant surprise because I did not know they were Broadway performers!
Wow....quality voices!!!!!
So darn cute! I can hardly get enough.
It's a fun song to sing as a trio. Did it as singing telegrams with my two pledge sisters back in the '80s.
That was a great scene!
I just noticed Matt conducting them at 1:58!
Yes!!!! Excellent parody of a Billy Joel classic. Wonder if Bill has seen this.
Why can't I get this on itunes
THEATRE KIDS in the capitol
Very entertaining....and very talented too...
Had to get just a little Fosse in there with those shoulders!
Thanks for uploading!
brilliant
The most funny episode of madam secretary 😂😂😂😂
I love it
I like this
M secs staff sings in other episodes as well. Erich Bergen sings on his own in real life too
I really really expected Téa Leoni to sing lol
Love this!!😁

Oh, please, like that trio would ever have been planned with a non-singer at the center. 😃 #suspensionofdisbeliefmyass
tejaswoman originally it was just supposed to be the secretary singing on her own
Is that the Taiwanese flag alongside with the American and the Chinese flags there on the table at 1:59? lol
LMFAO!! Nice spot!!
Who’s is here in 2023?
the agents were dancing at the end
Jesus Saves!!
Daisy's jacked oh my gosh
Patina is really representing for the chocolate girls out there
Erich’s songs! th-cam.com/channels/yHFTBwrloJujXQkfCEE_-A.html
Do u have the text? :D
Billy Joel would be proud!
tune
Patina has the better voice and should have sung the lead. Bebe sounds like all of us singing the song.
