Very interesting! I was always under the impression when storing muck to heap it high which would lock out air but your process seems reliant on aerobic processes It seems like a lot of time & potential compaction/ damage with all the windowing & turning but I assume it must be worth it?
Absolutely fantastic , many more should take a bit of time to do this to get all the goodness back into the soil

Do you cover the winrows to conserve heat or reduce the emission of methane or ammonia, or washing away soluble components?

Spread back out onto the arable, some of it onto the temporary grass leys within the arable rotation.
