- Kasoa is one of Ghana’s fastest developing towns. It is right outside Accra to the west and it is about an hour drive from the Kotoka international airport.
Over the years, Kasoa has become a hub for businesses and its name that translates to market’ has had a huge impact on the place.
In this video, I talk to my dad about his move to Kasoa including the good and bad times . He moved to Kasoa 25 years ago and he has managed to bring over 2000 people to Kasoa!

For some reason, your video about buying your $84,000 house came up in my TH-cam feed. I'm not even Ghanian, but watched the video, I love to see young people make smart moves. Then I started browsing your channel, and here I am. Kasoa looks very nice :-) I have Ghanian friends and all I really hear about is Accra, I very recently heard about Tema for the first time - it made a change to hear about somewhere else other than Accra! Even though I heard Tema is not that far away. This interview with your Daddy is so nice :-)

As a kid we use to leave in dansoman and when my mum use to travel to kasoa I felt like she was traveling to another country... That was in the 90s and yes kosoa will be the next eastlegon cos some places there are very lovely

Short story: we used to live at Dansoman in Accra and one day my mum told us about a land she had purchased in Kasoa... That was about 21 years ago lol.... one day she decided to take us to view the land and have a feel of the place... the trip was a longgg trip... I remember sleeping most of the time, we were driving but would never get to Accra😂my mum felt bad a little... fast forward to now... same route that gave us a hard time with the traffic and all ended up been the most developing area... around the west hills mall.. barrier...Kasoa has indeed evolved.. Fun fact my mum bought her land for 300 Gh(53/54$) about 21 years ago ...now that same land in Kasoa in my area sells at about $ 10000 and up...(Amanfrom-iron city). If you want a bare land there kraa you won’t get.. Kasoa is indeed evolving.. I’m happy I grew up there!!! And I stay there whenever I’m in Ghana😊😊😊🥰

Yes it is excellent, access to cell phone service is very easy and the internet is very fast. We have fibre optics over here
