Minoxidil is a hit or miss for some people & for the record it doesn’t cause hair loss it’s ment to treat it. The hair shedding you were experiencing is so that the old hairs can be replaced by stronger terminal hairs. If you use minoxidil long enough on the beard until those hair turn terminal then they are permanent. As for the hair on your hair head you can make gains as well but of course it’s a long term treatment.
Hey quick question, if you continued to shave but start taking minoxidil, will you still see results (IE will hair grow in better) once you stop shaving?
It speeds the process of hair growth so if you are pront to hairloss and use minoxidill it will speed up the process so it can technically cause hairloss.
Hey Christian. Fellow Dane here. Been om minoxidil for 6 months now. Minoxidil is only a life-long treatment if you use it for hairloss, the reason being that male pattern baldness will make you lose your hair again, when you stop using minoxidil. However, male pattern baldness doesn't affect your facial hair, and these hairs will stat. The reason why your gains fell out was because og the fact that you didn't ude minoxidil for long enough to let the vellous hairs become terminal hairs 😊
I used minoxidil on my beard for 7-8 months. Went from a nothing but a prepubescent shit stache to a somewhat full beard. All the gains stayed after i stopped though. I think one has to stay on it for a while for all the new hair to become terminal and thus not go away after discontinuing minoxidil.
That's right the problem Chris had is that he didn't wait until his hairs turn terminal. Minoxidil is not a lifelong treatment you just have to wait until your hairs turn terminal and then they won't fall off.
@@whalisten You’re right. It is a lifelong treatment if used for male pattern baldness. But when it’s used for facial hair, the gains stay if used long enough. Atleast for the majority of people.

Christian claims that minoxidil gains will always fall out according to the company, but that is only true in regards to scalp hair. With androgenic hair (body and beard hair), once your gains become terminal, the hair follicles will continue making those hairs permanently. Minoxidil gains on scalp hair, however, will never become permanent as they are a completely different type of hair follicle. He also mentions that minoxidil causes hair loss, which once again was a statement made out of a lack of research and understanding on the subject. Minoxidil forces your hair follicles to start working and going through their natural phases, and unfortunately, one of these stages is a shedding stage. It's rare, but some guys do notice excessive shedding for a week or so when starting minoxidil, however, this shedding stage will quickly end and any hair that was lost will grow back, it simply shedded as part of it's natural process. This is true for both scalp and beard/body hair. Quitting minoxidil should not make you loose your beard gains. It is the case with hair loss because the follicles are still working against the DHT "attacks". This is not the case with beard growth. I realise this video is over a year old, but I just came across it in my search for real results on microneedling. I definitely appreciate the honest review on both methods. I tried monoxidil a few years ago and had the same experiences. Eventually, I just stopped using it and in seemingly no time lost all of my gains. I am not using CPH but am doing a very similar process with a different product. It has only been 3 weeks, but already I am seeing new growth and areas filling in. In my opinion, using the derma roller is definitely the answer.
Let's be honest, minoxidil does work, it's the closest you'll ever get to a real, thick beard. CPH is basically a package which contains different things you can buy for way cheaper price (multivitamins, serum, comb, dermaroller). It's just a clever way of selling those things together, nothing else. If you are not allergic, and want real results, minoxidil is the best thing you can get. (5% Rogaine/Regaine depends on where you are from is best for that, Kirkland is also pretty good). There's also 10%, but that might trigger more side effects.
I used CPH for 5 months and got a decent result. Unfortunately, I lost some the gains due to some medication I had and stressful phase I have gone through.
I bought the CG Kit because of the good reviews, no side effects and the before and after process. Didn’t wanna do Minoxidil due to its harmful side effects and the fact that you won’t be able to keep what you gained from it. Since it is a medical treatment. Glad I didn’t even try it. Glad I got the CG Kit. Looking forward to my own beard journey as I’m a bit tired of having a baby face 😂
I tried minoxidil, did wonders for my hair. But, I feel like it destroyed my skin, became older and dry, the shedding was terrible my hair was full with dead skin looked like a bad case of dandruff and I also got an allergic reaction. Wouldn't recommend, everything went back as before once I stopped tho.
See my experience below. Guys keep in mind, don't use minoxidio with a mixture of higher than 5%. In my country those are banned due to companies giving unsafe mixtures. All minoxidil was banned at first and after a bunch of testing and private companies complaining, we are allowed to sell 2% mixture for women and 5% for men. So if you are experiencing side effects, this is probably why. And minoxidil being used for hair growth only happened randomly and is NOT MEDICALLY VERIFIED. Meaning this COULD be unsafe for users. I've been using minoxidil 5% now for a couple of weeks. I went from no beard at all on my cheecks (baby hairs) to black hairs sprouting all over. The dermaroller helps a lot because if I use the roller and minoxidil right after, I literally see results the next day. No joke. Still a couple of months to go before I would call it a proper beard and about a year from now I will have a viking beard IF the results keep piling up like this. I will also try to use some beard oils because minoxidil heavily dries out your skin. You'll see white cracked skin all over when using minoxidil

Minoxidil doesn’t cause hairloss. It’s called shedding. The hair can fall out but grow back better and stronger. It is a sign that it works if you are shedding. Minoxidil, with finasteride, is the only proven - scientifically - method that treat hairloss. I think you need to do some research or consult a doctor before doing a video like this.

This guy is a little misinformed it seems. The reason the facial hair falls out from minoxidil is the same reason everyone’s baby teeth fall out. The first teeth you get as a baby/child are weak and not permanent but when they fall out they are replaced with bigger, stronger, permanent teeth. Same with facial hair. The first round of hairs are vellus hairs ( i.e. weak then light color hairs) that eventually fall out and are then replaced with terminal hairs that are stronger, thicker, and darker.

Please do more research. Minoxidil is a life long treatment if you use it for your hair on your head. Because once you stop, the testosteron that makes your hair fall out on your head (people who are sensitive to dht) will take over Again it it will be like you mever used minoxidil at all. The hairs on your beard actually grow from that same testosterone (hair on your head fall out from dht, beard hair grow from dht) but minoxidil is never scientifically tested for the beard. So all that you reed on the package is wirh regards to your hair on your head. You need to use the minoxidil at leeast 1,5 to 2 years for the beard hairs to become terminal and then you will not loose your gains. Before that and the minoxidil did not have enough time to perminantly cement your hairs (reviews from other youtube channels).
Since you say that minoxidil has never been scientifically tested for the beard, what evidence do you have to support your claims about minoxidil for beards? If theres no scientific evidence like you say, then I'm not interested. If you have it from "reviews from other youtube channels", _you_ my friend, should do more research, and maybe most importantly, learn _how_ to do research and how to think critically.
@@ChristianNielsenOfficial My comment was with regards to statements that were made in the video e.g. reading the text on the package and referring to it as though the same applies to the head (male pattern baldness) as it should to the beard. That minoxidil is a life long treatment only applies to people who use it for the head with male pattern baldness because that is where it was tested on in the clinical trials. So you cannot apply the same statement to people who use it for the beard as that was never tested. There is scientific evidence that people sensitive to dht will lose there hair and that dht actually causes beard hair to grow in men. As the bottle of minoxidil you use is made for people with male pattern baldness (people sensitive to dht) and beard hair reacts in the exact opposite way it can be logically derived that statements regarding the use of minoxidil to combat male pattern baldness and minoxidil to promote beard growth should not be treated the same. A good friend of mine has used minoxidil for 2 years and basically went from almost no beard to a full beard.

Late response, but he said that he was already just applying it once a day.
Thanks for getting straight to the point.
I used CPH for 5 months and got a decent result. Unfortunately, I lost some the gains due to some medication I had and stressful phase I have gone through.
your beard is looking good
I bought the CG Kit because of the good reviews, no side effects and the before and after process.
How it’s going I tryna get a goatee
I tried minoxidil, did wonders for my hair. But, I feel like it destroyed my skin, became older and dry, the shedding was terrible my hair was full with dead skin looked like a bad case of dandruff and I also got an allergic reaction. Wouldn't recommend, everything went back as before once I stopped tho.
I used minoxidil twice a day, never had any symptoms
It will be interesting to see if the new hairs created by the minoxodyl (however its spelt) could be more perminantly kept by the use of the CG kit.
my question is why you check minoxidil at all? i dont think it can help after your beard reach his final stage....
Take finasteride if you're worried about hair. Idk what it'd do to your beard tho.
Also i heard you need to use minoxidil for a really long time for it to turn "permanent" (terminal?), Not sure.
Ive been using minoxidil foam regularly for about 1.5 years
The gains didnt go away when I stopped but the foam is a lot less effective than the dropper one
I haven't experienced side effects with the foam but the dropper makes my skin crazy dry at eczema level
Id recommend the foam for people who just need small improvements here and there
I stopped taking minoxidil after a few months my skin would just go red and inflame I also have eczema
I concur. The foam does seem to be less effective, at least in my opinion. The liquid has given me significant gains since I started.
@@maxwelshouse8357 you still on the juice?
Why don’t you use both the stronger one in morning and the other one at night.
Question for the guys that used minoxidil, Did you experience daily headaches ? If yes how bad?
I currently don't experience any headaches. If you experience symptoms you can reduce the amount you apply and they say that can help.
I did the first 1-2 weeks but it will go away. Been using it for almost a year now
Thanks for all the information
What is the substance, that causes the beard grow in the Copenhagen kit?
capilia longa
This shit works for me, you just have to do it for a while like 3 months then you’ll see results and be motivated to continue
That’s crazy I’ve been using monoxide for about a week now and I’ve been feeling weird I couldn’t put my finger on it it didn’t even acure to me that it could be the beard growing product but yes I’ve had increased heart rate headaches and had to take constant breaks while working outside I’m throwing it away
It’s very bad for some guys. Including myself. I experienced depression and low libido and some Ed symptoms that took about a year to go away and still haven’t recovered 100%
Not worth going through any of that for a fuller beard.. 😢
@@ckemimire3657if you still have issues, go to your doctor to see if you have prolactin issues.
Can i ask you, did you try to not cut your beard for more than 5 and more, because maybe it need more time to get full beard?
Minoxidil doesn’t cause hairloss. It’s called shedding. The hair can fall out but grow back better and stronger. It is a sign that it works if you are shedding. Minoxidil, with finasteride, is the only proven - scientifically - method that treat hairloss. I think you need to do some research or consult a doctor before doing a video like this.
One of the most commons side affects that they don't tell you is that Minoxidil will give you erectile dysfunction and can turn into a permanent side affects or increase the sooner it'll happen
Experienced that myself. But what you mean increase the sooner will happen?
I started using Rogaine, but I also have purchased a Cph kit, can I use Rogaine to get quick hairs and then switch to the cph kit to keep the results?
If you want a fuller beard, do what worked for me buy a straight blade razor🥰
Satisfaction from shaving is so nice
If cuts are your worry, just don't think negative thoughts while you shave 🥰
1: While you think something worked for you, there might actually be other reasons to why you noticed beard gains. It could be natural development of your beard and have nothing to do with you shaving.
Its already established that shaving doesnt boost beard growth.
2; Thinking positive thoughts doesnt prevent you from cuts while shaving.
Jesus christ😂😂
@@ChristianNielsenOfficial sounds a lot like your product 🙄

You lose your progress if you don’t use it at least a year bro the only side effect I had was dry skin
I've been using minoxidil for over 2 months now and haven't seen anything grow at all. I missed maybe 2 or 3 days where I forgot to put it on or just felt too tired. Also the smell is way too strong and I woke up with headaches alot. I gave up with it
Take Minoxidil with no PG, most of the bad sides are caused by the PG
Hey, Idk But do u think this would work for ur eyebrows
Thank you mr.sir
Lots of misinformation or half truths in this video, can tell it's a Copenhagen advertisement.
Hi . Can you give any advice for gynecomastia without surgery ?
U actual keep most gains after a year on minoxidil
Minoxidil isn’t a life long thing what happens if u aren’t using minoxidil until the new hairs reach there final growth point then yes u will loose gains

You stopped during the vellus hairs before they became permanent
Thats a likely explanation which cant be accepted or rejected with certainty.
@@ChristianNielsenOfficial no thats literrlly it
@@erikgarcia6523 I'm not saying it isn't *literally it. Again, it's a likely explanation which can't be accepted or rejected without further investigation and evidence. You can't rule out other explanations - if you do, and just conclude it like you're doing right now, you're not thinking scientifically or rationally. You're jumping to a conclusion with no evidence.

What about the the beard club?
The hairs fall out after you stop using manoxadil? I wonder what % of people have that issue? Doesn't make sense. Anybody know why that might happen and care to explain it to me? Ive been wanting to use monaxodil along with vitamins to see if it'll help me grow more hair on my cheeks, but that info has me leary about it now.
@@malachi4103 Ah yeah I see. I've actually started using minoxidil since posting this lol. I've had tons of hair thinning out though all over my head and face. I've now got patches of mustache missing because there are these small, round areas where the hairs inside have all fallen out. The hair on the sides of head is really thin too. I bought a 3 month supply and I'm almost done w the 2nd one. So I'm about 2onths in and have that much thinning already! I can't wait for all that thinning to stop and for the repo

For me minoxidil is bad for heart
Does CPH work on hair aswell?
yes the original company has products for hair
Why do these guys on the thumbnail keep showing them clean shaven on the before and then like a month growth in the after. If you want to show the real results show how it looks in both growth time
Bro its cap
Didn’t know any of this

Anyone tried ds labs beard serum (nanoxidil)?
También lo utilizaste que diferencia bro saludos
