LASERPECKER 3 Laser Engraver Review! It's AWESOME

In this review, i check out the LASERPECKER 3 and try out engraving some stuff, if i can figure this thing out, you can too!
LaserPecker 3 is the world's smallest infrared pulsed laser engraver with a handheld design. With 360°rotary 4k ultra fine engraving, it can engrave metal and plastic. With a mobile APP or PC software control, it’s super easy to use.

Dalton, I'm curious to know if the Laser pecker model 3.0 can ingrave a hot dog? For science purposes my dude

I would test it on a steak. It might smell quite tasty 🤔
2 things. 1: put a metal shroud over it. That will delete your retinas on the 3rd bounce around the room before you know what happened. Even if you aren't worried about yourself, do it to protect your kid. 2: You are now qualified to do a collaborative tech review with Linus Tech Tips. Your humor has officially synchronized.

One usually needs to have a Jag to graduate to a Lazer Pecker 3

Hit shiny metal with a black marker and try engraving that way. If it works, try similar coatings that can be cleaned off.

Put PBG on a window if it does glass
A ‘PBG’ etching right above the door handles on your rigs would be pretty sick. Or a ‘Dalton’ on yours and ‘JD’ on his car would be real cool lookin

It is not powerful enough to do metal but you can apply a stencil material then laser the stencil. After which you have a perfect stencil for Chem etching. I use it on some weapons stuff now and then to mark them.
It sure etched that socket nearly perfect
Try to use MoS2 powder or CRC dry moly lube when engraving clean metal. You'll see the difference
@@outsidethebarn it marked it because it took out the oxide coating. There is no depth to it. When messing with weaps you need depth.
That ominous blue light on the front i reckon it will have taken over the house by Friday 😅

If you do 2-3 runs of one depth, it will do a good job. A buddy of mine does this but on a larger scale.

Just a couple of things, 1. Wear protective eyewear the engraver laser is just as bright a welding is, 2. The reason why it says no mirrored surfaces is because it won't engrave it very well, and shoots the laser off and can damage eyes, and 3. When can we expect to be able to order laser engraved products?
It never fails, everytime a NEW Laser Pecker comes out, My old one just seems so.. Inadequate.

Im thinking 10 to 1 odds that you will be in the E.R. in less than a week after you try to laser a PBG logo on your pecker! LOL
You need to wear the glasses, the reflection will literally blind you! It seems dumb to wear, but you can see why the laser would bounce off and engrave your eyes…

you can buy anodized key chain blanks in different colors and make your own PBG key chains to sell. I know I'd buy a few. And knowing you made them with the Pecker 3 at home makes it even cooler.
How many lasers could a laser pecker peck if a laser pecker could peck lasers?

You could cut the old tailgate from the Silver Dollar, etch the truck onto piece and have one of kind to sell or give away.

You could engrave your own custom dashboards for your aMC Eagle. And you could also do like your own emblems
You should put your logo on the frame of every car that makes the channel. That way it can be traced by PBG historians in the future.

DUDE!!! ok, I'm a bit of a gun fanatic, and the first thing I noticed was that back wall you were careful not to show too much of. Now, with the roller, you could put engraving on the cylinder of a revolver. Like the navel scene on the 1851 Navy. you could also do scroll work on slides. You can engrave badges for cars and trucks. mm is metric so 25 mm is one inch FYI. Make stuff to sell on your website like key holders of say your cars and trucks

Laser pecker sounds like an insult... Also I think we all secretely knew you had a gun room, gun room confirmed, including a laser pecker. I like the wheel gun collection on the wall, I've got a few S&W wheel guns too.
U do a plate for power, start button and fuel pump on wrecks then use a dark painnted plate and etch into it and then mount the switches? Better then the old sharpie?

Yeh these lasers are incredibly good. But like anything, a little bit of PPE is advisable. Bare minimum is a pair of laser safe goggles. Equally some of the fumes they give off can be a bit funky. But being a long term subscriber my guess is Dalton probably not as worried about those. Meh… I get it
No actually I didn't even think of the IR radiation, and the manual said nothing about it 😂 kinda scary

If you play with your laser pecker too much, you could go blind.
I was debating what was more irritating: the endless mentions of the words 'Laser Pecker' or my previous irritant 'Jaaaaaaaaag'.... but then the belly laugh I got out of you discovering the socket was actually a 13/16 made me forgive all. Well done, my friend.
You need to make sure the object is the correct distance each time you laser’ you’ll get better

11:03 one of the only popular brand names I can think of is Glowforge. Their cheapest no frills model is five grand. The premium model is seven grand. With the discount ($1330ish), you can get almost FOUR of these for one base model glowforge. And we all would rather have four Laser Pecker 3's than one lousy Glowforge. Sounds like a child's bedtime toy.
