hello my friend i need your help into ccna sp , and ccnp sp i need any materials you study about these certifications give me link for these recommended books and i will buy them but i don`t know anything about these certifications and ine or cbtnuggets don`t have any videos about these topics thanks
I can download just about anything from Cisco but I can't authenticate past the link you supplied. Would you mind telling me where I can get credentials?
+Derg Enterprises I used my CCO account login to do that. I have associated my CCO/CCIE to the reseller I work for, but I was able to login and download IOS XR long before that though. Try logging in the way you normally do then follow the link
Awesome! We have a client that is looking to migrate from a pair 6509s ASRs, so I may have to get up to speed pretty quick. Been a CCNP since 2009, but never worked on the IOS-XR :P
I modified a script to ping all devices so I don't have type ping blah blah every time. It's TCL (I think) so it's just for routers, etc. Update: After watching your frame-relay video and learning ping 255.255.255.255, my script seems silly
+Derg Enterprises The drawback with all 255's ping is that it's only for the directly connected subnets of that router. Where TCL, or tickle as I like to call it, is a shell that lets you ping or trace and add parameters, like sourcing off a loopback. I've used it before. It was relevant in the CCIE R&S v4 lab but not in the v5.
Do a vid with Xr ssh

+Rob Riker Thanks, it might not be part of any contracts on my account.
Its not part of contracts for me either. It should just be able to be downloaded
Thanks for the video. I was curious what configuration differences there are between traditional IOS and IOS-XR, so this gives me an idea.
+tom darrohn I am putting together a video series that will cover both IOS and IOS XR at the same time. Stay tuned!

Thanks, I'll dig my script out of the graveyard.
