the original demand was the actual voter numbers based on which the percentages were calculated. Like it was done in earlier years. Most of the information in Form 17C is unusable by the common man. In that sense form 17C is not needed, what is the needed is the raw data.

Right from Raja Hari Chandra Sathya has always been put to test. In one way, we need to thank Modi and Prashant Kishore; because of them we get to listen the wisdom from people living a life of character of integrity.
As long as the fight was between Jayalalitha and Karunanidhi, people were the audience. Now, the Election Commission made the fight between Modi vs People. Jayanagar people would be on the road on June 4, 2024 to validate Form 17C.
Corporate funding to the political parties for elections should be stopped. There should be separate organization to collect the funds to distribute equal amount to all registered parties or organise common platform for parties to review the issues and give constructive plans instead organising rallies to exhibit their mussel power by harrassing the people in rallies and deployment of huge war like forces.

My guess is that the delay of four days to publish the consolidated data. In such cases, there is a very strong need to establish a very rigorous process of compiling data, and entering it into a computer system. This has to be accurate. Most common people do not understand what is done in such cases, unless they have been involved in such an exercise. Many would simply assume that the data can be entered and assumed to be accurate. However, there have to be checks and balances to ensure that there are no data entry errors caused intentionally or unintentionally! There are standard methods employed in such situations. These take time. When the CEC certifies such data, it is only when such checks have been completed.
This clearly, is a case where the opposition parties are bringing up an objection for the purpose of discrediting the integrity of the elections and the CEC and the EC only to discredit the eventual outcome of the elections. When highly paid advocates like the ones involved are ready to take up such cases, it only makes them look silly to those who are keen political observers!
it is dishonest journalism to deliberately put title which id totally out of tune with the interview substance. Henceforth please put title mentioning interview with so and so. Questions are comprehensive and open unlike BJP biased media but why avoid names BJP and Modi; also try to summarise now and then differently than what is explicitly expressed as answer to questions?

If there is no legal obligation, then even Supreme Court cannot force EC to release the data.
On the same logic, they did provide in earlier elections these data even though there was no legal obligation. In other words, these data were published in earlier elections illegally. That means the previous elections and the actions by the ECI were not as per the law (same meaning as illegal) and by induction all their connected actions (including declaration of results)

Sir as a voter I would like to ask you,what is the necessity of conducting Elections in 6 to 7 phases when it is told that EVMs are fast and occurate? I am 65 year old and I have seen Loksabha elections conducted in a qcick manner and results annonced quickly? What is the secret behind this?

The notice to the heads of the parties for a vilation of a election canvaser is almost amount to giving notice to the head of family of an offenter which is not fair and such an act exposes the weakness of the prosecutor.Vilation of the model code of election cannot or should not be treated lightly . Because our country is basically a most diversified in communal, religious, custom and culture and so any utterances of a canvasser can not or should not be taken as a minor one because it shall result in social unrest and divide the voters on communal and caste basis like monorities and majorities which Shall harm our democracy for ever, . Henc such canvassing must be treated as murdering the democracy of our country and sever action must be taken against the canvassers Most of the speaches/ canvasses of PM Modijee were divisive and majoritarians vice minorities. So sending notice to the heads of the parties clearly indicates the master and servants relationship of PM and ECI and the code of conduct was vilatedby EC because the vilater was PM, in fact his actions were not as a PM but definitely as a BJP canvasser.
