The little grocery store packs of it suck, get a 3000ft x 1ft box from the sams club or a restaurant supply store, it’ll last a lifetime and the blade is way more solid and easy to use. 2. Don’t rip off a piece and then try to get it over the container. Pull it out, wrap the far edge, pull it taught, and then cut it with the box. (I’m an actual cook of almost a decade, not an internet “expert”) 👍
That's good but and even easier thing to do is to buy the new Style cut right box that has the slider cutter attached that way you pull it out attached to the Bowl stretch it out as far as you need it and then slide that cutter across and tuck it over easy peasy worth the extra quarter it leaves room in your freezer for ice cream
I always start placing it over the bowl before cutting it from the roll. That way, it's not entirely loose, so you can place the loose end, cut the other side, and it doesn't get jumbled up.
Here’s a plastic wrap trick for you: While it is still on the roll, place the plastic wrap over whatever you need to cover, and THEN rip it. You’ll get the perfect seal every time.
