This video made me realize that there is so much more to matter than describing it that it has mass and occupies space. I also realized that many remarkable scientists contributed many things for us to simply understand everything in this complicated world, specifically matter and what it is composed of.

The Discovery of the Matter is important and can provide us a giant leap forward in knowledge and understanding how the universe really works. If the 20th century can provide the materials that is needed to conduct the experiments then the unknown secrets of matter, sooner or later will be explored :D
1xevillapez: Everything at its simplest form! The presentation was very clear, accurate and the facts were unbelievable (the live videos also from '80s or '90s).
Anyone watching this should read what one of the all time great quantum physicists, David Bohm, has to say about the hypothesis that the universe is fundamentally composed of elementary and distinct particles. A view which, in a very significant way, does not permit the explanation of many natural phenomena at the quantum level.
Matter is indeed everything around us, it can be found all over the universe. Atoms and molecules are all composed of matter. I have learned a lot of new informations and knowledge. This is a must-watch video as it gives you a lot of informations and knowledge about Matter. I can't believe that almost everything around us are composed of small partices. Wow. Giving this video a two thumbs up and an A+++ :) Awesome vid!!
The overview about matter was clearly explained. It was quite comprehensive and the visuals/pictures were done creatively. With the help of this video, I now have deeper understanding about the main concepts in Chemistry. Nice work!

This video expandaded my understanding about atoms. Not just that I also found out that there are more particles that what I know. Cant deny that I'm amazed at how this world is made up, particles by particles discovering mysteries by mysteries.
Wonderful and organized! Though the video is only an introduction, the info it shows is extensive and very explanatory. The timeline of the atoms was very useful as well.
"This complicated world" , oh it is. But I gotta say, the accelerators that deepens their studies, on what he said, made me remember of the movie Angels & Demons. Wew. :D

Pretty impressive how neatly compiled the information was in the video, considering the complex and advanced topics that were tackled (existence of quarks, electron neutrinos, deflection of particles etc.). The video keeps moving in a way that intrigues the viewer rather than stagnating on one topic. Tho it felt more like an introduction than a documentary in which the topics were expounded only to their fundamental concepts. Which it should since yknow part 1 duh
TL;DR: Video's great. Really informative and straight to the point. But only serves as an introduction to the more advanced intricacies of subatomic particles.

Thank you for this informative video! I believe that I can use these insights that I gained through watching this video in our subject (chemistry). With this, I've learned the fundamentals of atoms and how it works. As such, the subatomic particles may also be used in different fields of study, thus helping out for the development of the things around us. I really appreciate the video and keep up the good work!

this video was awesome and gives lots of information. it made me know that atoms can be a building blocks of matter which also related to our lesson in chemistry. it broadens my knowledge about atoms. at first, i taught it just was the smallest particles but then it gives me info that it can be a building blocks of matter. in sum, it was awesome and helpful to the students.

KUGLER2OPEÑA - with this video, I understand more of atoms. I have learned tht negatively charge particles, electrons, are used also in some activities or experiments. Also, I have learned on how protons, electrons and neutrons was discovered. They were discovered with the use of different devices. But, one thing that strucks me the most is the device in which that it accelerates protons and then let it crash somewhat to a wall wherein it captures the rays that bounces back after the collision. I suggest that this video will have a subtitle so that the terms that have been mentioned will be noted. thank you.
