Thank you. Means a lot to me. Predicting wether it breaks left or right get's better the more time you spend reading waves. On some spots the reef or the bottom of the sea makes the waves break to the left or to the right. On some spots you have a-frame waves, which you can surf left or right. Look at the wave you want to catch and figure out in which direction it breaks or will break (highest point of the wave). Try to figure out in which direction the wave is going to break (the wall or face of the wave). Ypu can do that already from the beach before entering the water. When you look from the sea to the beach and it breaks from right to left its a left handed wave, so you surf it to the left. And the other way around.

I got a problem is that when I look back to check out the wave when paddling, my board somehow would turn to the side I look and not straight which causing Me failed to catch that wave ? How to improve that ?
Hey. That's quiet hard to answer without seeing you in action, cause this problem could result from different mistakes. One could be you are not centered with your body weight while you go for those last strokes to catch the waves. Maybe because you open the legs, one leg creates dran and your board turns. Maybe you lie to much on the front so the nose slides under water to the left or right and your board turns too. Another thing could be, that you are centered but you paddle stronger with one arm then the other which turns your board as well. And the other problem could be, when you paddle hard your upper body is moving top much and it creates more pressure on one side of the board and your board will turn too. Let me know if it's one of these mistakes. All the best and keep surfing.

Pull your knee back when you lift your foot to stretch your main leg muscle, don't just only lift your foot behind you.
