Lynette, you had a great haul from thrifting. It was so sweet of the boys to buy Oaklynn the bike, and her reaction was precious. Harper pushing the stool was so adorable. Maybe put some felt pads on the legs if your worried about your floor. Jackson is such an adorable goof ball on camera.❤

I am definitely a thrifter. When we go to Holmes County, I find so many great items. I make all my own dresses so I'll look for cardigans, shoes, sheets to use for lining in sewing. You got a good haul, almost something for everyone. The Bench was special, I probably would have picked it up, too.

Looks like it was a fun and successful thrifting trip. The white ceramic scalloped dish looks like my quiche dish. But yes, you can use it for many other things. Love the cute little stool for the girls. And how sweet that your son purchased the cute bicycle for Oaklynn. He has a generous heart!

I enjoy going thrifting with you. Thrifting is a good way to have a good time and saving money. I have many things in my home that I've bought thrifting,garage sales and estate sales. I love the clothes you've purchased. I know Oakland is thrilled for her bicycle her brother bought her. Love the thro. Corel ware is good and the pitcher is really nice and love it. I love thrifting. While they are not thrift stores, my favorite stores to pop into when I have an extra few minutes are Ross, Marshals and TJ Maxx. I also love to wander through old, historic cemeteries. I love the little stool that you found!

I LOVE Mission Thrift! It's practically the only thrift store I enjoy. We were looking for an old pocket watch. One that had no electronics. We didn't find one, but they had just sold one the previous week, so we'll keep looking. They were so helpful! And you could use that type of jewelry box to store sewing notions.
I love that little stool. I reminds me of a rocking chair that was made for my Mom over 100. Years ago when she was small.

Hello Lynette! You asked what we like to do when we have spare time. I am blessed to have part of one day each week to myself. I treat myself to a special coffee and bagel sandwich at our local coffee shop, do some devotionals and watch some of my favorite TH-camrs, such as yourself. Then I hop over to a couple of the thrift stores nearby. It makes for such a relaxing day. Thank you for sharing your thrifting finds with us. I especially liked the stool. It definitely has that antique vibe to it. 😊❤

Lynette you scored on your clothing. The skirts are darling!! So glad you had time to yourself. I am an empty nester and retired. I love going to antique stores and just getting lost in all the vintage and antique pieces. I like to think back to my childhood or the things my parents and grandparents had growing up. I get lost in my thoughts and don't have to think about anything. Your children are so sweet! How thoughtful and nice that Oaklin's brother bought her the bike. The little footstool is so precious! I have a collection of very tiny chairs that I keep up on a shelf above my window and I have one of those stools but in a miniature size. Thank you for taking us along on your thrifting day!

The round white dish is a quiche dish, at least I have one similar that I use for quiches. When I have time for myself, I am into scrapbooking and making homemade cards or putting together puzzles in the wintertime. I am not a big thrift store person, as I don't have children or grandchildren to buy for!!! I love that cute little stool!!!

It’s been awhile since I’ve been on TH-cam! Been decluttering for almost a year in a house we have lived in for 44 years and it is much needed! I watch a little TH-cam each week of my faves and this week it was you!! The kids are getting so big and you you are putting out videos that I love!!!
Only laughing as I just got home from the family thrift on 17th street...I LOVE that store. Wanted to stop in at Blessings thrift also on CAttlemen, but was time to feed the ducks and chickens. Oddly, we dont need anything, but it is very relaxing to stroll around and sometimes you find something you didnt even KNOW you needed . For those coming down to visit..The goodwill bins and store in North Port are amazing, The FAmily Thrift in Sarasota has a gold mine, half price on Wednesdays..the blessings thrift has such a fun assortment...and if moving here...funrniture..Iversons, hands down. When we moved back we left all but our antique furniture behind...so started over. Iversons on Clark had eveything we needed, in our style, and a great price.

great video. you found a lot of good things thrifting --- clothing, decor pieces, kitchen etc and Caden is such a good big brother to buy Oaklynn that bicycle and it will be good she can grow into it, so cute for a girl, Sure you and Nick are thrilled he has such a good heart to buy that for his sister. So you found many good finds on your thrifting and at your friends what they were selling.

I live in Ohio and I sure wish I had thrift stores like SRQ does. I wintered there a few years back for about 6 years in a row and at that time I was not into vintage but sure am now! That is my favorite thing to do if I have an hour or more to spare for sure!

Just returned from my annual trip to Holmes County with my sisters and for the first time enjoyed a fabulous meal at East Main! Also purchased a few things at Leaf and Linen. We loved both places and definitely will return.

My husband’s Great Grandfather Edwin Best was on the Titanic. He was a First Class Steward. Both my husband’s parents had family lost when it sank.

What a great thrift haul. I love thrifting as a way of spending a few hours of me time and it saves so much money. Loved the idea of turning the dress into a skirt ..and the pitcher was beautiful. I wish we had more thrift stores in our area..but maybe I would spend too much money. Glad you got the AC fixed..it's in the 80's here in Michigan, so we have ours running as well..colder fall like weather coming in Thursday..can't wait for the cooler temps as I have some outdoor chores to get done.
