For those who don’t know: Shania’s mom and step dad died while her siblings were still young, so she was left to basically raise and take care of them. How she ended up being so kind and positive I’ll never know.

This is pure happiness and peace all in one song. Love this artist so much.
When I was a teenager in Mexico, I was going through some really hard times, I was bullied so hard at school, everyday was a struggle and never took for granted coming back alive, I remember I used to cry my eyes out playing this song, waiting for better days to come, and they did. The other day I was driving home at night and this song played, I started crying because of how my life turned out to be, the clouds cleared and found my place, my love and my peace. If only I could tell the young me how wonderful things turned out to be.

I was about 6 almost 7 listening to this song in my parents' car. I grew up in Hawaii, and we were going through Waimea, a very green, hilly, country-like town. The windows were rolled down and my hair was blowing, I was in my favorite denim jacket. Every time I hear this song, I think of that.

This was true music. Not having to care about genres but just making something that everyone loved. People always say Taylor is a crossover country star but she basically had to change her sound to do it. Shania stayed true to herself and stilled garnered a ton of fans. That's a true artist and I will forever love her music. I'm not even that big of a country fan! Lol

Same exact story! 1995 ❤️🔥 From a country family in Canada, my parents were huge fans and I remember the day we bought this album, and me singing her songs in the car without even understanding English.
I sang this for the my sixth grade talent show when I didn't have a lot of friends. I remember my mom brought me out and got me a new outfit for it. I had terrible stage fright but I did it anyway and I remember for a week after that so many people told me what a great job I did. Great memories

Used to sit in the back of the car with my mom driving me to school. She would always play Shania Twain and I had great memories of singing this song with my more. Dear Shania, I'd like to share something I felt I was obliged to. Just because I believe an artist always benefits from listening to a fan's experience. Today I had a really bad day at work. It just kept getting worse and worse. It was bordering on unbearable and I really started breaking down. Luckily, I kept singing this song over and over again. Lines like "Can only go up from here" or "Don't go let it get you down / You gotta keep on holding on" helped me get through the day. Thank you.
