True, i recommend going for 10w. Unfortunately my options here were very limited. It was either this or a generic brand that had no rating. However, 20w is not that bad. Roads are pretty decent here.
I recommend you buy a motul bearing grease as it's made for all weather and will slow down the wear and tear. It cost Rs. 40 here. If not, you could use lithium or silicon lubricant, they are water resistant to most cases.
Hey Meryvn great videos Bud, I wanted to know how often does one need to change the front folk oil, my bike is similar to yours it's a Bs4 model from 2020 15k driven so far, the local mechanic told be dont bother with it as long as oil is not leaking, which I found weird..Thanks for your Awesome Videos. Hope to hear back from you👍
Hey Ravi, on the service manual it says every 25,000 km. I changed it at 30,000 km. I thought it was fine too but after doing a whole lot of research I read that the oil degrades over time and that with the friction, heat and dust the oil is completely broken down and will wear out the fork parts. To avoid the wear and tear it's best to replace the oil. Rather than replacing the whole part. Service technicians will mostly look at how they can get more from you. They have targets to meet too on parts sold. I have experienced this with many. It made sense too. These cheap care & maintenance doesn't give them a good profit. BTW it's been over 5 years since I purchased my bike. Most conventional oils and lubricants have a shelf life of 5 years. So it was a complete green light for me.
I learned a lot from this Vidio 🙏🏻thank you sir ❤
Glad that I can help! 😊
Good Video, Heavy oil in Ntorq is big No.

Bro can we just drain the old oil and put the new oil
Or we need ti clean with dishwasher?
You actually don't need to use the dishwasher. You can just wipe it dry and refill it with the new oil.
