- The California Incline (formerly called Sunset Trail in 1896) is a slanted road that connects Ocean Ave and California Ave with State Route 1 or Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). It consists a designated pedestrian and bike path and lanes for motor vehicles.
The PCH, Santa Monica Pier, and Santa Monica Beach are in view.
