i love the banjo i was really confused when i first played it because i mainly play guitar and i was wondering why most of the songs are Mosley open but then i realised that it sounds so good you dont need to change the notes
I just started playing 4 days ago. I'm still very much in the practicing basic stage. But I am from Alabama and I thought it'd be great to know this song
Ben, your videos are great. I got a banjo about six weeks ago, so your channel is exactly what I need. I'm a musician (brass and percussion) but can't find another banjo player, and I live in a small town, where if you don't know a particular musician, you know another one that does, so it's seat of the pants learning for me. Can you give me some advice, please? All the notes on the first fret thud, and notes from there on down the neck are clear. Is the action too low? I know it's a long shot, but you're obviously experienced. What do you think?

That's awesome, Kyle! Don't forget I have a beginner learning track on the site that takes people from the very beginning.
Same I really like this song when I heard
Nice I like playing this tune on my mandolin
How did you play that quick note after you said “Bum babdum!”
99% sure that is the ending lick to You are My Sunshine, which Banjo Ben also has a lesson for!
thanks rachel
